Hubby, Minnie and i voted. She even got a "I voted today sticker"!! |
I voted early a couple of weeks ago. My state only has 4 electoral votes total so for the presidential race it sort of isn't worth much. Plus I'm a democrat and my state hasn't gone blue in like 50 years! I accidentally stuck my "I Voted" sticker on an old bill..... silly me! |

Maxwell has been wearing his voting sticker all day. |
We just heard that Ohio has gone to Obama, am praying which ever wins the election that he will do the will of the American's, and that our country will go forward with better times for ALL AMERICAN'S. We pray for him to have the strength and fortitude in the trying times we're in and to be able to handle world situations with other leaders. With all this said, I am proud to say that we both did vote for McCain. Regardless, who ever gets in we pray for wisdom in all areas and for the will of the people. I sure do pray that all our service men/women abroad in Iraq and Afghanastan and elsewhere that their absentee ballots are acounted for, not one of their votes should be missed. God Bless each and every one of them. Patti and Jack |

Okay, if you look at the voting, they have McCain winning some states, and Obama winning states..Well if you look there is only a small percentage of the votes even in in those states, so there is no way they can tell whos won them until all the votes in that state are in..they are showing McCain winning in Michigan, but, yet have given that state to Obama..now go figure! They need to quit doing all this until the votes are all in, then show who the winner is...I'm so sick of all this crap right now.Dang media AGAIN! |
Obama has won!! We now have a new, historic president. Times are changing, hopefully we move forward towards better things. |
Woohoo!!!!!!!:D |

We just heard that Obama is now elected. We are praying that Obama with God's help will lead our country forward. We have a really rough time ahead with or without his being elected it was obvious that the months ahead are not going to be easy, our country has been going through some real bad times. We are very proud to say we both voted for McCain, we was sad to not see him elected, we believe he would have been a great leader, our prayers of good things to be for him and Sarah Palin in the future for them in political office. Regardless, we pray that the American people together will work towards the goal of togetherness in our great country and always partake in political affairs and keep close communication to the new President and Vice President for all that is good for our country and one another. We ask God to be with our new leaders when they take office and to give them the fortitude leading them in all their decisions, whatever they be, for the good of us all here in America, and the future for all of our children and grandchildren. We pray that God will forever reign as Our Great Leader of our United States and that man will follow his path in each direction that he leads. Your Friends, Patti and Jack |
Its amazing what $180million, raised in Sept alone, can buy. Remember that elections have consequences. This is just one example: Even Biden said this country would be "tested" with some catistrophic incident in the first 6 months. Hopefully my thoughts on this election will be proven wrong. |

All the best to our President Elect - Barack Obama. Probably best we close this as it's running into political opinions... :) |
