Is your baby more affectionate in the morning?

I was just wondering if any one else's baby is MUCH more affectionate when they 1st wake up in the morning. The second we make a noise like we might be waking up, that is Ralphies cue to just pummel us and cover us with kisses. It is like he is sooo thrilled to be awake. He likes to lie under my chin on my neck and he will contort his little body in any way necessary to get in that spot. He just can't get close enough. Soooo precious. It is the best way to start the day. I call it Ralphies "lovin's"

Ours don't wait for us to wake up....they wake us up with kisses.

Ha Ha. Well, Ralphie did do that at 1st but his Daddy worked really hard to train him to wait for us to wake up 1st, and then he can let the kissing begin

Tricksie is so happy to wake us up, she goes to her Papa, kisses, kisses, then to me kisses and more kisses, she loves us, BUT, she wants FOOD!

Oh, yes!! Bella waits for the first sign of "waking up" movement to pummel me! (She even knows that I will snooze my alarm clock several times, could be 2 or 5 or more , and doesn't start trying to get to me until then.) Usually she doesn't sleep in bed with me, so it was easier to train her to wait, but she has been in my bed the last 3 nights because she was spayed Friday and I didn't want to risk her jump, jump, jumping to make it in bed. Every morning she wiggles until she can lay her little neck right under my chin, wiggling around to give kisses! I just remarked this morning to my bf how much I like that....so soft and soooo sweet!! I'm sad she won't be sleeping with me anymore very soon

Duke does the exact same thing, I love how he would curls up in my arms just to be close to me. I think it's his way of saying stay in bed/at home with me and don't go to work.

Awww, that's so sweet. I love when he lays under my chin like that too. Sounds like Bella is trying to get all the snuggles she can get while she is sleeping in the bed with Mommy. Too sweet.

Yup, Garrett is def more loving in the morning . Whenever I open his crate, he jumps right up in the bed and the kisses begin .

I love mornings and nights, that's when he's Mommy's boy

Once he gets out of bed to get ready for work, he turns to me and kisses me till I get up and out of bed. You're right, it's the best way to start the day I'd love to know how your bf taught him to wait till you're up to start his lovin. On the weekened, when we wanna sleep in, he doesn't wait for us to get up.

Yay, Ralphie and Meeko have another thing in common
We actually used to joke that the only reason Ralphie gave his "lovins" to his Dad 1st was because he wanted to pester him until he finally just got up and Ralphie could have his mommy all to himself. I swear, the second he gets out of bed, Ralphie just curls up next to me and goes to sleep like a little angel. It is hilarious.
And when I say his Dad trained him to wait until we were awake 1st before the "lovins" commence, I mean he is not quite as bad as he used to be. That may have been an exaggeration He will actually go back to sleep though for the most part until I tell him to bring on the "lovins". Then it's on

That's so funny. Mine would sleep ALL day if we stayed in bed, especially Madeline. Sometimes she'll stay in bed even after we get up.

As soon as Chip feels me move around in the morning, he crawls (literally) to my face and covers me with sweet kisses... not the psychotic kind like usual... just sweet gentle kisses. Smokey curls up with me and rolls over for a belly rub and will give me even more gentle kisses.
