Take Maya Please OK someone with more skills can come get Miss Maya. She is beyond recognition. Just when I thought she "had it", she does a complete reversal......please tell me that 6 months there is still some hope  |
She's really cute, and still a baby. There is hope. Be patient, firm, and consistent with training. |

I will try...but for some reason these past couple of days....... |
Aww honey you will be fine. We usually struggle with them until about a year old ..maybe a bit longer. My Lulu was trained fully and trust worthy by eight months. Now Zoey is thirteen and will still slip here and there. I also have Toby who is almost seven months....he is a work in progress but doing ok. You just have to be patient...god knows that is hard. Consistent is also a must. Also please don't over baby them now that the weather is changing. If your training for outside keep up with it just dress them warmly. |
I know it is hard and believe me i have 6 babies 3 adults and 3 4 month olds and i have had yorkies for years they are stubborn but this is what i do and works every time.. go to toys R us or Kmart get the childrens Play Yard it has no bottom.. in one corner put bed in the other put food and toys and down at that whole one end put Pee pads go to EZ WHelp and order the low cost washable pads to save money.. anyway put that where she can see you and you see her leave her there when you cant watch her and when you do see her pee on the pads praise her very well... you can not let them run every where and you do have to remember they are babies you dont expect a human baby to know to go to the potty at 4 months .. you will do fine good luck..:animal36 |
Hey Girl! PM me your address and I'll be there in 3 hours. LOL! Seriously though, your a great mom. Having a puppy is just superhard work, when you get 'em through the worst part it'll be all worth it. |

See i think that is part of the issue. Miss thang just stands on the deck and looks at the yard. IF I pick her up and put her there, she goes back to the deck. She hasn't used it on the deck, just that one day. THen just won't do anything, and then goes inside the house  |

I tell you I just had to put her in the laundry room and walk away this morning |

Oh and when I'm home, he feels that he should get every minute of my attention. And if he doesn't get it, he'll get right up in my face and bark non stop. We are working on "no bark", but I think it's useless. I've been walking him every afternoon and play fetch with him after dinner which helps some but not enough. He's like a human toddler, but worse. I love him to death, but somedays he makes me want to pull my hair out! |
