It's 55 degrees in Miami !!! 3 Attachment(s) Ok, I know alot of YTers are laughing at me right now, thinking "So what, that's not cold!" :D But this is Miami guys ! 55 degrees is reason to be excited here in the MIA. Down here, we wait all year for a reason to pull out the sweaters and jackets....woop woop...:biggrin8:. Aaaaand.....speaking of sweaters..... |
Wow, that is cold for Miami!! If you're happy, I'm happy for you :D But, I'd love to be on a warm tropical beach right now. BRRRR, it was 30 degrees when I woke up this morning :( Last year in Dec., I remember it being in the 60's here in Southern IN. I don't think we'll get that lucky this year. Who knows? Our weather is whacky! Enjoy your sweaters and jackets! Your baby is adorable. |
30 degrees :tongue036....I would die. I like when it gets chilly here, but not too cold. I'm from the islands :island2:, so anything below 50 degrees is too much for me :p. It feels really nice outside, and it's a welcome change from the humidity. Hey, and it's only October, maybe we'll have a chilly Christmas for a change down here, the past few years have been warm :(. |
That is cold for Miami. The weather sure if changing all across the country from year to year. To make you feel just alittle bit better it's 41 in NY with heavy rain and winds. Plus I have no heat in my office nor have I had heat for two weeks. They wait until winter to put in a new furnace.:( I won't comment on my thoughts regarding this stupidy. Keep warm. Your baby looks adorable in that pretty red sweater. |
It was 44 this morning in Santa Rosa Beach,FL. That's in the panhandle near Destin. I am originally from Miami and this is my first winter here and this S$%@ is NOT NORMAL FOR FLORIDA. lol I am freezing. |

It has been down in the 50's here in California at night too. I love it when it finally cools off! I leave my windows open at night, now, and it feel so good. We are in an upstairs apartment, and nobody can reach our windows, LOL . Being upstairs is is always very warm , and sometimes stuffy . Were still getting warm temps in the day though. so warm people wear shorts. LOL .Fall time is my favorite time of yr. in Ca. :D |
Anything under 75 degrees in Miami is cold. I remember having to buy turtle necks for our dogs when it got cold one year. I grew up there and it was always funny when those few cold days would come and everyone just loved getting their jackets and sweaters out! :p Right now it says it's 48 degrees here in Tallahassee. That's rather chilly for this time of year yet. All I know is Zoë isn't adjusting well to the cool weather. She only has 1 sweater right now and if it's cooler than 75 she'll shake until she gets her sweater on. She's also loving being wrapped up in blankets! |
yeah, it's very cold down here! I have to leave Bengi is his jammies this morning to make sure he stays warm :):):) |
It's 86 here, we can't wait for Fall Super cute pictures:D:D:D |

LOL, I'll share, you can have it. It's way too hot here for the end of October:eek::eek::eek: My sister is only 20 min. from here at it hit 100 at her house yesterday. Maybe that's why we are moving to NC, I want real weather.:D:D:D:D |
We live in central Florida, and this morning it was 47 and it said it felt like 41. Freezing! We recently moved here from Chicago though, so we are at least thankful it isn't the like 20 degrees it is there :) |

OOPS, I take that back, it was year before last. Last Feb. we went to Nashville and got hit with back to back ice storms. |
I heard you guys got the weather we had Sunday. The wind was gusting up to 53mph here with snow showers! UGH! |
how cute is that! |
I know! I'm loving this cold weather! We slept with the AC off and windows open last night. It was feezing in the morning though, didn't wanna get out of bed. But, you can't beat the awesome breeze. I hope it sticks around for a while, it's 66* now. I feel bad for my grandparents. They're flying down tomorrow for vacation. They were hoping to escape the cold in NJ lol My grandma's mad she has to pack jeans now. |
:eek:That is cold! I lived in Miami for about 3 years, and it seemed when the temps dropped, it was a very damp cold. It is in the 40's here today, and cold, but not the same is it is there, I know. Enjoy the brief change!:D |
In NY it's snowing now :snow: I'll trade with you:p |
Brrrrr I know it seems silly that the 50's are cold, but I have to say brrrr. Even though we live in NW FL-near Destin, the high today was to be 61 & I'm not sure if it got there due to the wind. It will be in the 30's tonight, very unusual for us. I didn't put my babies out until 2, I just changed their pads & have brought them in several times. I know they can take the cold, but our temps have been so out of whack I wanted to condition them first. I guess it's getting time to pull out the Parkers Parka lol. I will have to go get some more now that there are 4. lol |
86 here in AZ...I wish it would cool a little more!! |
Wind Chill in the 40s tomorrow! Quote:
Tomorrow morning is suppose to be even colder, 50 degrees but feeling like 46 degrees  :D Sweaters & Flip Flops in Miami tomorrow :D |
Global Warming must be on vacation!!!LOL Although its 95 here in the Phoenix area this week, about 10 degrees above normal. |
It was 40 this morning here.. BRRRRRRRR |
Brrrrr...... I took Garrett out this morning.......49 degrees ! It felt like f$%^&&^% 30degrees :D. OMG, this is crazy!!!! Garrett loved it though, he was hopping and prancing, rolling in the cold grass :p. Gonna make the best of it today, because it warms back up tomorrow  |
IM sorry but I would take 55 anyday.. lol. I woke up to several inches of snow on the ground with fridged cold winds blowing, waiting outside with my kids this morning to get on the bus was horrible. :( My pumpkins are covered in snow!! its too early for the white stuff. |

I saw it on the news this morning, that you guys had woken up to quite a few inches :(. Sending you a warm Miami hug from Garrett and I  |
 OMG I woke up to 33 this morning! We actually had a freeze warning! We don't get this type of weather until Dec-Feb. We didn't have a warning last night, so most of my plants are still outside :(. Dh let the furbies out at 6:30 & didn't last long. They did their business & was at the door in less than 5 min. & went right back to their room w/warm beds & blankies. I let them out again at 8 when it was 38 & they just went out again, it's in the 40's now. I was just commenting last weekend that I was loving the fall weather-but not winter. BRRRRRR I feel for all that deal w/this & worse on a yearly basis. My son just went to MI last week to see his dad, who also raises small breeds. He said they already had snow & they use a garage w/lots of paper when the weather is foul. Dh is picking up sweaters for all of them today. We only had one for Parker. My aunt said that she uses sweat shirt sleeves for hers (peeks). Sounds like a pretty thrifty idea. Good for daily yard uses. |
omg I know what you all are talking about. I'm in south mississippi almost to the Gulf and we've had 30 degree mornings yesterday, today, and tomorrow....brrrr We're not used to this cold this soon:confused: I was told by some older people that live around here we were going to have a early winter, I guess they were right.;) |
