| Did I wait to long??? When I purchased my puppy he was already 5 months old, He was so sick that I never put a collar or clothes on him, as I didnt want to stress him anymore than he already was. So now that he is the picture of health....guess who does not like to wear anything!! I tried putting a light weight tank on him and he wont move he just lays there and looks so sad. So what should I do? Or is it to late? He really needs to wear something as he gets cold very easy. Please help. Thanks |

| hello, what you can try to do is every time you approach him with clothing or collar, have plenty of treats with you and give him treats for being near the clothes and investigating the clothes/collar. and let him play with the cloths if he wants to. this way he will associate clothes with good things. and he should eventually love to be clothed. you have to be patient with him though, because if you rush it, then it won't work. he will continue to dislike it. good luck!

| I would think give him and few treats and pet him a lot right after you put the clothes on and then try to get him moving in it like play with a toy with him or anything to get him walking around so he knows the clothes are ok to do everything he normaly did in them.

| Romeo refused to wear clothes too. I still have a hard time getting him to wear them indoors. But I get him to wear his coats out side. I put his harness on and then his coat over it.He's so excited to go out he forgets he has it on. lol, but now if he sees clothes he thinks he going out. lol. |
