OMG it's a miracle you got her back. I am so happy for you and her!! Did they see the posters and just not call you? You're right all that matters is you have her back. What did she do when she saw you? I don't blame your mom. I would have probably went off on them too if it was my dog. You should probably call the police just to report it.

Most of the fee was to cover the vet bills they incountered and for the things that they purchased. They gave me the bill which was over $140 then showed me how much they paid for the clothes and such they bought for her. Expenses aside, the reward alone was $250. I had no problem paying that, my initial reward fee was $1000 until my mother told me that there was no way I was paying that. I don't care about the money, just that I have her back, But I will call the cops and make a report just in case (I know my mama would LOVE that).

The police can at least look into who they got your dog from. And since they had trouble answering your question about the hair there is still a chance that they took her, but then got tired of caring for her and decided to get the reward and their money back.

It wasn't them but a man in a total different neighborhood that saw my flyers by the school near by. He looked into it and gave me his information. The people that had her said that they did look around for flyers but didn't see any. which is more than likely true because after the first few times I put them up, they were pulled down because I was told it was illegal to put them on the poles. They also sad that they lived behind the school near me. I lived in the front of the school.

:thumbup: OMG! I am so happy you got your baby back. After all the news about Bobo, we really needed some good news. I started to cry, reading you found your baby. I cannot imagine losing one of mine. Today is a day you will never forget. Sending lots of love and hugs to you and your baby.

Oh my goodness, thank God! I am sooo happy you got her back, i cant believe this all happened. I feel so bad she prob. got kicked:( Who do you think did that? How could they to such a little baby? That's so wrong..but im so happy she is back with you!

YAY! That's so great for you. Although, I'm not sure if I would've handled it so nicely after I got her back. Did you tell them exactly where you live? I'd definitely buy more locks or something and keep an extra special eye out for her. That's awful but I'm still so happy for you.

It just doesn't make any sense that they would've cut her down so short, they didn't want you to find her. PERIOD. That's my opinion.

OMG OMG OMG - I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! I have tears in my eyes over here!! A happy ending!! To have your baby back...I can't even imagine how you must FEEL!!!

An entire month? I would've lost it. I am super protective of my sweetie, and everyone thinks I'm weird.

I would have been angry with them just like your mom was, but that's who I am. There are too many people in this world who only care about themselves and get what they want no matter who they hurt. I dont think its right that they made you pay for the dog stuff though. I mean, they were planning on keeping your dog, right? I would have happily paid the reward and thats it, but also involved the police.

Being in the heat of the moment I probably would have paid too, but thinking on it, you shouldn't have had to pay for the vet nor the things they bought. It's hard but if given the time to think about it you should have told them I'll give you the offered reward and not a penny more and since you had proof that she was yours you should have said you would call the police to assist in getting her back if they withheld her for more money.

I am so glad you got Kitty back. I know Kitty won a cutest dog contest sponsored by the local paper, do you think this could have anything to do with the fact that she went missing? I think if you have any inkling at all you should tell the newspaper, and I would tell the police as well. If those people were involved with kidnapping, you can be pretty sure it won't happen to another dog if they police are aware of them. Some people will do anything for a few hundred bucks.

I am so thrilled you got your baby back!!!! I would have done the same thing to get my baby back. Thank God for the man that contacted you, he's the one who if anyone should have asked for the reward. Just shows there are nice people out there and not so nice people.

Thanks everyone! I agree, the mystery man should have gotten the reward but he said he didn't want it and knew that the people that had her would want it (he says he go there everyday). When she first got home, the first thing she did was jumped on my bed and layed on my pillow. I just can't believe it!

Slim to no chance of her return but I was sent a mystery man that was able to reunite me with my angel. LOL I just want to squeal. I just want to spoil her more!

i am so happy for you... my gus gus got lost for one week before a miracle
was sent to us, and he was found.. severely matted and fading fast, lost in the woods and found by a kind man, refusing any rewards....
he needed shaved and topical ointments for a week to heal the chemical burns.. from the matting..
but, we are truly bonded for life now....i know how you feel..
a month is a long time.. you must be elated..

I would of given anything to get my baby back. My mom would of yelled, and cussed at them too! When you hold her, and love her, that is worth every penny. The only thing that matters is you got your Kitty back. After a month, thank God!!

I am a firm believer that God sends us angels. In this case, the angel was that gentleman who saw one lonely flyer that you posted, and took the time, trouble, and concern to double check on things for you. Who in this day and time can you find to go the extra mile like that for someone else?

At a time like this I think of "what ifs". What IF you had done everything you could on the phone, but not posted flyers??? What If that particular person never saw your flyer? What IF the people in the store had not given her a home?

I know you will hold her close to you and love her even more. I am so glad you found her.
