OMG - I'd be all over the place looking - GOOD LUCK and I hope you find Silk - many dogs are getting stolen these days...not to scare you but it's a terrible world out there now - I REALLY hope one of your neighbors has him or he did get out... but someone nice has him - I would put flyers up in places your neighbors would be sure to see... Oh NOOOOOOO! Oh NOOOOOOO! I hope you fund your bebe! How horrible! I know how you feel. I thought I lost Pea 2 days after I got her. We were having more wood floors put in and she vanished! I thought she went out with me to get the mail. I was histerical!!! Crying like a baby! You poor lady. I do hope you kind your baby. :( Just to let some of you know there are GPF's for dogs now. Global Pet Finders. If your dog runs away it will tell you the adress where your pet is. I just think this is wonderful! Best of Luck and I'll say a prayer for your baby. Do Not Wait!!! Don't wait another nano-second!!! Go door to door and hand out flyers with his picture on them. Call the animal control people. Walk up and down the street where you live calling his name!! It might be that someone has him and doesn't know what to do. It might be that if he's inside someones house and hears your voice, he'll bark, or yip or something. Keep your ears and eyes open! Hopefully, if someone does have him, they will take him to the nearest vet to see if there is a chip. Call your vet and tell him. Call all the neighorhood vets and give them any information you can. Just seen this thread and my heart is so sad for you. My friend lost her doggy (yorkie/pom mix) and would not stop searching for her. She ended up finding him 4 days later at a park with a little boy when taking her friend home from work. They little boy said that his older brother came home with him and that he found him wondering the streets. Which was far from the truth. The only place he would be alone was in thier inclosed backyard. They had a doggy door and he would come in and out as he pleased. So this guy had to open the gate and get him. Don't give up searching. Some one had to have seen something. Good luck and please keep us posted! |
I am sorry to hear your baby is lost. A long time ago we had a jack russel puppy ans someone stole her out of our fenced back yard. I was sooo upset! I made flyers with her picture on it and put them up everywhere. 7-11s gas stations grocery stores, bank machines....just everywhere. I put in huge lettering $$REWARD$$ and honestly after a week really thought we would never see her again. Guess what some guy was at Chevron and saw my flyer and turned in his friends girlfriend. He told me where she lived I went there and she wasnt home but went by her door and called Sugar and heard her crying. So I waited for the girl to come home when she did she totally denied she had her even after I told her I could hear her. I gave a few threats (nope I didnt just admit that...lol) and she finally opened her house door and Sugar came running out. I couldnt believe we got her back. I think if it werent for the reward we wouldve never got her back. I guess money will make someone talk. Its worth a shot I was sure glad I did it. I hope itll work for you too. |
Posters and Rewards OMG You must be heartbroken... I am so sorry to hear he is gone.. When I lost a dog a couple of years ago, friend was taking care of him while I was on holiday and let him out without a leash despite instructions not to, I posted over 100 lost posters put them in each and every business in my town and the neighboring town that would let me and went door to door leaving them with the houses if the people were not in I left the poster in between the screen doors or in their post box. By the end of the first day I got him back. You should do this right away after contacting the police, all the vets and the shelters. Good luck finding your Silk and keep us up to date. |
