I'm just seeing this here! One year with a special little boy that has been through so much and has grown into a strong, spirit-filled boy! And he has brought so many of us together. Hopefully all the difficulties are behind him and the rest of your years together are nothing but full of happiness.

Wow Vicki its hard to believe its been a year and now look at him. Boy he is a miracle and he has had lots and lots of prayers during those times. I can remember all the posts and the tears that come to your eyes when I read each line. You know that poor little guy had to be strong to make it through what he did. And God gave him the right family to get through all this. You guys were a truely God sent miracle to him. He looks so much better out of that cast. You had to know he was so spoiled during that time and with good reasons. I'm so glad to just see how great he looks today and know that is behind him. That is a story we all can remember that has been here that long. Its hard to believe its been a whole year. And then again for you it probably seems like years getting through it all. He did touch us all in many different ways but he did touch each heart. Bleu Boy its so wonderful to see what a handsome little guy you turned out to be. No one could resist that little face of yours. We are so happy for the happy end to a long story. There are happy endings and this truely is a good story that proves it.

:eek: Vicky ... no way has it been a year?!? I am so happy to see an updated picture of Bleu Boy! I will never, as long as I live, forget the rollercoaster of his ordeal. I don't think I have ever kept up with a thread so closly ... having to know how he was but sometimes terrified to look!! Deep in my heart I knew he would recover but just hated everything he had to go through! So ... Bleu Boy Barber ... Happy Anniversary! God bless you all!

I am working on a video of the last year with BLEU BOY so as soon as I get it ready I will post it !! Thank you all for everything... I use to frequent the sick and emergency thread matter of fact when I am on Yt that is where I am most of the times.. I will admit it is very difficult because I take every single solitary situation to heart. Every day I was praying for a pup that had some medical problem right along with mine.. I know that thread is still there and I do visit but not near as much as I should... IT IS HEART BREAKING and my heart needed a break..... Thank you all again :)

Wow, I just finished reading the thread and my heart goes out to you. So happy to hear you are all doing well. In July I went through something similiar and Val had contacted me also. I was lucky enough with my baby that hers was just a sore back. My best wishes to you and your baby.

Vicki - hey sweet friend! So glad I saw this post. I've been awol from YT so much since June - I'm glad I found this thread today. I've missed hearing about you and your sweet babies.

Bleu Boy is just a beautiful boy - what a difference a year makes. He is still here in a huge part due to your love and dedication to him. May he have a long healthy life.

So surprised to hear that the wise, wise vet has left - hopefully her experience with Bleu Boy will save other sweet pups.

oohh that precious baby! What a sweetheart! Vicki that was a gorgeous and touching post. I can feel how much love and devotion you have to Blue boy and him to you. You truely are lucky to have him and he is truely more than lucky to have you. It must feel so good to win a battle that was hard fought!

That is the most rewarding stories I've ever read! Your baby is so beautiful and I'm so glad you didn't give up on him. He looks so sweet and wonderful, makes me want to go home and just hug my little guy too! Thanks for sharing your story and I'm grateful for people like you in this world!!! :)
