Strollers have you got one for your baby/babies ? 1 Attachment(s) Hi there was just wondering if anyone else has a stroller for their baby/babies.:) my 2 babies luv their stroller , when i get it out they jump on whilst its still folded because they cant wait to go out in it LOL :D here is a piccy of Holly in the stroller as tho to say "will you hurry up mummy" HAHAHA |
Aww Holly looks soooooo cute! I think strollers are a great idea for use in crowded places...I dont have one myself but seeing how adorable little Holly looks I'm quite tempted to put one on my Christmas list....it will be great for taking to festivals in the summer:D I can just picture my hubby's face now.... xxx xxx |
LOL My hubby was like no your not having a buggy for the dogs they have legs LOL he used to walk a mile ahead or behind me but now he dont mind walking with us or even having the odd push HA HA because of all the attention it gets from the ladies ;) |
I've been tempted to get a stroller - with a really private hood - just so I can take Roxy with me when I go to the mall. How has that worked for those who have tried it? (And I know on this forum, there are those who have tried it! :p ) |
Oh, if I tell my hubby that he'll definitely let me get one!:D xxx |
1 Attachment(s) I only take my likkle doggies out in the buggy when we go to Car Boot Sales, (likes rummaging round car boots ) LOL :D |
2 Attachment(s) I have it and love it! I use it for dog meetups, dog events and also going to stores :D I find stroller very useful for dog events. I went to this event in the summer where it was a lot of dogs and was very overwhelming for my little guy so he stayed in the stroller a lot of times. We saw other yorkies in the stroller too ;) Here is a pic of Maxi in his stroller :D |
I have a stroller for Callie and normaly I latch her in and leave in up ziped and she loves to sit with her paws on the front and let the wind blow in her hair lol she prefers that because she is level with any of the big dogs and peoples hands if I stroll past someone whos hand is near she will reach out and lick it. We hand a yard sale and insted of keeping her locked in the house and on a leash I put her in her stroller next to me and the cash box latched her thinger so she cant jump out but has enough length to lay down and stuff and she sat right there loving all the attention people gave her. I'm always afraid she will get stepped on in crowded places. |
I dont have one, but now that I ma about to become a household of two little doggies I am considering buying a carrier of some sort. I've resisted having one the whole time I've had my Chi, Ellie, in fact think I may be the only person I know of with a Chi who doesn't have one! I am thinking just a bag type though, not a stroller. I have many friends who have the stollers though and they swear by them! Jess :heart to |
Oh, yes! Lucy and Rebel have a stroller! I don't use it very often - but I LOVE having it. I took them to PetSmart a while back, and the babies were the entertainment committee while we were there! They greeted everybody we saw and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I have a regular vet, in town, and a vet I use for more serious stuff who is 3 hours away. When I take them to the out of town vet I always take the stroller - he treats a LOT of animals and my 2 feel more secure in their stroller with all the big dogs around. |
1 Attachment(s) here is Benji n Holly in their buggy ;) |
I have to admit that I thought having a stroller was kind of stupid since they actually need to walk, but I can totally see the benefit of having one at a meet up. And now that I have Zaccheus, and he is smaller than Cricket and Roxy, it is hard to keep them all under control. Yesterday at Petco, it was a good thing I had both kids with me, so they could each do dog duty. I never take them to the mall or any stores because I was asked to leave one time when I had Cricket with me. And she was just a baby. |
Oh yes, indeed, I do have a stroller for my babies. I have four so I have a double decker, two in the top and two in the bottom. It's great for when you don't want people touching and messing with them and keeps them clean and off the dirty floor! I don't use it as much as I thought I would but good to have when we take them on vacation. |
I have wanted one but Leo and his sister thinks people with strollers for their dogs are crazy. I found an orange one and and Orange being my fav color I will be getting this one. PetEdge: Guardian Gear Roadster Has anyone had this one? I think it looks very nice and I like the front wheels on it. And I am crazy about my dogs so I think a Stroller will fit me and the dogs well LOL Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |

alternative to dog strollers Greetings from Houston.. I wanted more protection for my 2 yorksters....so I went to Ace Hardware and bought their largest shopping cart (not like the grocery store carts). I padded it on the bottom....they are free to look 360 degrees.....can not jump out to chase any critters....and are protected from curious or aggressive dogs. They know when the garage door opens and I wheel it to the front door that they are going on a neighborhood adventure....I have had lots of people just stop their cars in the street to interact with them. It is not a cutesy stroller.....but work just great. They love the openess and the breeze blowing on their sweet little faces. Max and Maggie's mom |
I don't have one, but it sounds like a good idea. Sometimes Brady does get overwhelmed with too many people. I have a nice dog carrier that I use to take him shopping. No one ever realizes he is in there, except a few dog lovers. I have actually had people tell me nice purse. I think it looks like a plaid mailbox, but whatever. The craziest place I have brought him with it was a mexican restraunt, we were on vacation and didn't want to leave him in the car. There was even a band in there and he didn't bark. So nobody has brought their dog shopping with their stroller? Thats the main reason I would want one. Don't the zip up, so people wouldn't know? |
Question about strollers. Do they have restraints? I've thought about getting one because I'd like to take Sasha w/ me more often but she's too people friendly and MUST stop and greet or stare at everyone in her sight. It's frustating because no one has time for all of that and I hate pulling on her harness all the time (sometimes to the point where she is standing on her hind legs.) But if I put her in a stroller, she would just jump right on out. I can't even use cute carriers for that reason. The only time she is still is when I have clothes on her. Hmmmm I think I may have just solved my problem....lol |
2 Attachment(s) before and after pics pic 1.. i bought this one first but it snapped ooops !:D pic 2.. then i bought childs buggy and hubby converted it for me ;) as you can see holly is always the centre of attention LOLOL |

Now you have my gears turning. I really want to use mine to jog with, so maybe the Jeep Rubicon would be a wise choice for us. I just wish it was pink. Maybe I should check out the jogger kid strollers at the 2nd hand store. Hmmm... Quote:

1 Attachment(s) I have this one....and I must say it is really a pain to use; it's huge! It does have restraints and I can zip or unzip. I got it to use at flea markets, etc, but its too big for crowded places.:( |
Could anyone recommend a good stroller or where I can find one? |
