The meetup sounds exciting. How many people do you expect? What is the age group of most members? Do a lot of members come alone with just furbabies? Does anyone bring skin children?

To the person from Rhode Island who asked about carpooling... I am from CT.

Hi Bonnie!
I attended the meetup in Kansas City this year and it was great..... There were people of ALL ages there...... 20's - 60's!!! Some hubby's were there, and I think there were a few YT'ers that brought children (but it sounds like there will be a few more this year). The majority of people attending were members with their Yorkies....... but my hubby went with me and he is planning on going again. (It was a nice get-away....... and we got to see some sights along the way, too!)

Hi Bonnie! We are hoping for about 75 members and their yorkies plus some skin family.

I am not really sure..... but more than 50 people were there in KC (plus yorkies). It was neat seeing all the different Yorkies... sizes, colors, personalities....... oh and the SHOPPING was great..... there were some YT vendors there..... with some really cute stuff with Special meetup prices!!

Actually, there were 32 YT members who registered. There were another 20 or so spouses/friends/family members. I'm forgetting the actual count of Yorkies, but I think it was around 50. 1/2 the vendors were registered YT participants, and of the other 1/2, two of them were speakers!!!!

Wow! I Was close!! ....... I remember counting a few over 50 at the tables for dinner...... (I just didn't know the actual YT'er count). It would be great if that number would double next year!!!

I want to go to the YT meet up so badly!

But my hubby can't come, since he is working and on-call that weekend.

So if you are a female who needs a roommate and wants to split the cost of the room for the 2 days, that would be great!

I am in the RI/MA area. I will help with gas, or I can drive and you can help with the gas. Either way we can save money and split things 50/50.

So let me know if you plan on going alone and live in RI, MA, CT, NY or NJ

I hope to hear from you soon!!!!

Yay! Can't wait to meet you. I do not know if fasteddie will be in attendance. That would be GREAT though! Then ya'll COULD have like a YT Boyscout Retreat! ;)
