My Fiance new Yorkie Handmade Bed

This is a bed that i recently made for our new Yorkie. I still dont have a name for him because this is a surprice for my fiance including the bed so she will name him after she gets him. But what do you think of the bed? I was told i would get better responses on general talk. Thank you all for your comments----

The bed itself looks very nice, with lots of detailed work.

I think your fiance will love the Yorkie and the bed.

You don't say how old the new Yorkie is.

I'd be concerned about the safety & destructiveness of your Yorkie, i.e., chewing. Did you trial it with your Yorkie?

You are totally correct and the light bulb turnned on as soon as i was done with it.LOL!!! He is 9 weeks old so he is still a little demon. But ohh well as long as my fiance likes him and he sleeps on the bed one i will be happy!!LOL!!

Spectatular! The bed is awesome. I do agree with the previous poster about taking cautions with a young pup. They LOVE to chew wood. I would hate for your masterpiece to have teethmarks.

Will you be offering any for sale? I think they would be a huge hit if there was a way to ship them at a reasonable price.

Again - spectatular work! Love the details!!

Yes after i made it a realized that i would be making some for sale. Im still not to sure about the price range. Still trying to see how much for material i spend on it then add just a little more for the labor. I might start to post them on sale here a little down the road once i have a few done. Thank you--

One more comment/question. You were so very thoughtful to design/make this bed for your fiance - are YOU cloneable???? I am NOT in the market as I have one for 27+ years :D :D :D :D, but there are many young ladies here at YT who would love to have such a thoughtful man in their life. Just a thought :lol tears

I thank you for your complement but i am very happy with my fiance and the love i have for her its what triggers my thoughtfulness on what i can do to put a smile on her face and that is where my creations come in place. Ive made her a few other things as well. This is just one of them because i got her a new Yorkie. Thanks again tought for your complement now lets focus on the bed!!LOL!!!

WOW:eek: That's an awesome bed, very regal! As previously mentioned by others, I'd be concerned that it would be chewed on. I'm not worried so much for the looks of the bed being destroyed, but rather the safety of the pup. Those pillows, and the cords, have pieces on them that could be swallowed, and these little guys LOVE to chew, especially when they're teething. I lost my dog Starr to a piece of a pencil, so when I see a choking or intestinal blockage (if swallowed) hazard, I feel I must say something.

I'm sure that you'll both be very careful and only let him be in that lovely bed under your supervision;) Gosh, but it's beautiful:D!!!!!!!

The bed is a beauty, I wish I can make something like that!

I *am* worried about the beads, and the cords, and the woods that may splinter if chewed aggressively. There's lots of spaces... where they can get their snout in... *grimace* My Mocha never met an unchewable thing in her precious life. :rolleyes:

If it does get chewed, maybe your fiance can keep it until he's done teething :) Don't worry - she'll still be the happiest woman in the world when you give it to her.

Or did you get the pattern/idea from the net?

If you do sell them I would love to put in a costume color order.

Wow that's freakin awesome! You sure are extremely talented! Now if I only had a boyfriend who was equally handy, and patient, I could get my princess a little bed like that.

I'd sell them if I were you.

I sure will once i get people that are intrested. Im in the military and will be getting out on december so once im out i will have alot of time to build alot more and sell them. Right now i can still make some but my time is limited. First come first serve. Thank you!!!!
