Tell me I'm not Totally Insane!!! 1 Attachment(s) :rolleyes:Okay I need some multi yorkie owners support right now. I currently have 4 little fur butts. Sometimes I feel very overwhelmed with them, and did not ever imagine having so many. With that said, I just got another little boy:eek: Yes I know I'm losing it!!! He is a half brother to my Chip and Gus. He is 7 months old and weights around 2.5 lbs. His body looks like Chips and his face looks like Gus. He looks soo cute, I have been looking at him for a while now. At first the breeder was gonna keep him, then a friend of mine wanted him but backed out, then he was almost sold to another lady. My heart fell when I heard he had been sold to a stranger, then she couldn't come up with the money. So there he was, and she said if I wanted him I could have him at a very huge discount. I jumped on it, but now what am I gonna do with 4 little boys, and 1 little girl?? Help, someone tell me I'm not a NUT:confused: I am attaching a picture of him so maybe you will understand why I couldn't say no.... |

My condolences to your little girl ;):D! FOUR brothers???? Congrats. I'm fighting an overwhelming urge to add a 3rd. Right now there are only Yorkies (and 3 other dogs), but one for me and one for my hubby seems to be appropriate. But the little one is calling my name .... Enjoy your new addition. I can solve your problem...if you're so overwhelmed just pack him up and send him to me! Better yet...I'll just come pick him up! ;) Seriously...he's a total doll and I don't blame you one bit for taking him home...I would have done the same thing. |
I'm of no help as we will be adding #3 at the end of the month ourselves. :D However, I think you are looking at this from the wrong point of view. Look at that ADORABLE face!! I think you would be crazy for NOT getting him. :) |
I was jsut saying to my hubby how much I wish we had a bigger house with a bigger garden so I could fill it with Yorkies. I currently have 3 but I sooooo want some more. I am just in love with the breed, and I want them running around everywere. So do I think your insane???, Do you think I am insane. LOL |
NUTS, NO - smart yes. :thumbup::thumbup: What could be better in life than a house full of Yorkies. I love having 9 dogs in total! |
:) I have 5 total. 3 Yorkies, 1 Yorkie/Poo and 1 dachshund. So I sure don't think you are crazy. I know some people think I am too when I say I have 5 dogs. But when they hear that they are small dogs, they go, "oh, that's not so bad". I would have taken the little boy too. He's a doll. :D Enjoy!! |
I would love 5 dogs to sleep with me, keep me company when I cry, listen to me sing, dance when I'm happy, and make me laugh unexpectedly. So are you nuts? NO. I would add another one already if I'm not thinking about potty training another :D |

I was given a yorkie because her owner wasn't able to care for her. I fell in love with her instantly, A few months later I purchased a little brother for her to play with. I thought two would be fine no problem. Well now I have a third one,another girl, and I am thinking what in the world is wrong with me three yorkies. Yes it is a lot of work but I enjoy them so much. Oh I forgot to mention I have another one coming toward the end of December. I studded my male out for pick of the litter. I am just so grateful that my husband loves them as much as I do. I'm just wondering if they make a bed bigger that king size, my bed is getting so small these days "lol". |

How could you not get him. He is just gorgeous!!! I have 4 dogs and some days I feel overwhelmed with the grooming, peeing /pooping etc but when they are all snuggled up by me I could have 10 more!! |

Well are you gonna keep him? He is adorable...i don't think 5 is a lot, it's just a lot to someone who cannot care for all of them but i think it's great. It is a lot of responsibility but he is really cute! |
Thanks Everyone:) I feel much better now just knowing I'm not the only one with a house full of fluff. I have just moved into a new house with a huge fenced in back yard, and all your worries go away with a few kisses.. Oh, Now I can't wait to get him!!!::D |
Oh bless! he is a cutie. I do understand how you feel, but I am sure he will bring you tons of joy. I live in a small flat, have no backyard, and potty training Humphrey is taking me forever. But I swear that if hubby said yes (which is proving impossible, as he doesn't even like my humps humps that much), I'd totally get Humphrey a little friend to play with... I am positively jealous and wish I could adopt another baby myself! Good luck! |

I think the general consensus is NO YOUR NOT CRAZY!!! LOL He's precious!!!!! I only have one yorkie...my daughter just got one...but I'm always thinking about adding another yorkie to our pack... We do also have a 90 lb. mix dog...and she just adores the little ones!! What could be better than surrounding yourself by the most precious breed of dog ever created!!!!! |
