How does your Yorkie Pee?? lol. silly question I know:p. But Pixie does this weird thing, I've never noticed another dog doing it. She will squat, but she'll extend one leg to the side. It looks like she's holding her skirt up since she has long hair... :rolleyes:Curious if anyone else's baby does the same thing? :aimeeyork |

Roxy does that except her one leg sometimes goes straight up in the air. Remi, my little guy, sometimes squats and sometimes sort of lifts his leg, but when he does, he just dribbles so he doesn't actually pee on anything he is aiming at, lol. I think there's quite a few little girls that lift one leg - I always thought she didn't want to pee on her legs and that's the only way she could keep her balance:rolleyes:. |
Hi, My Maddie is 10 months old and does this all the time whether the grass is dry, wet, high, or short. Really funny! |

Funny Bella squats too and lifts one leg straight out. I have occasionally seen her lift both legs straight out slightly and kind of balance on her front legs. It makes us laugh.:D |
Maggie sqats but will walk at the same time she is peeing as if to spread it out. Hot Rod has recently started lifting his leg somewhat to pee. It is the cutiest thing. Sometimes when he happens to be by the stop sign, he picks up the leg away from the sign--it's tooo funny! the first couple of times he lifted his leg, he sorta lost his balance. |
Wrigley (male) still squats... kinda. He squats completely some times, but mostly he starts off squating, then he kinda half way lifts his left leg but acts like he is going to lose his balence any second lol. |

My two girls both do this too-they lift/extend one leg as to avoid peeing on their leg or their foot. Pretty smart if you ask me! |
omg!!! lexi does the same thing.. i thought she had alittle male in her.. just her right leg extends up, especially if shes real next to the curb or a wall. |
I always say that Teddi looks like a flying squirel when she pees. She does this little hop up in the air and then lands with both her legs out really far and low to the ground and then pees. It's is really funny. I should actually take a pictures or a video of it! |
Chloe does the same thing. She doesn't like wet or cold grass. |

Tina held her leg out straight when she tee teed because she had a cast on her back leg from breaking it. What was funny was that after the cast was removed she still held it out for along time thinking she still had the cast. Kayla really does something weird. She will stretch her legs out behind her but will hold her front legs up. It is the wierdest looking thing I have ever seen. I thought she was tee teeing at first and I guess she was only stretching her legs. lol!!! |

My female Bichon has always done that. I think it's her version of marking. She will pee where one of the other dogs has gone. |

My boy lifts his leg so high I think he's going to tip over sometimes! He has good balance though :) My girl squats and then lifts one leg just slightly off the ground, I always thought she must've learned from her brother, lol |
Hmm Humphrey squats, pees and then steps on it and walks around with pee pee paws, its very frustrating. I have to walk with a towel and then wash his paws with warm water and soap. |
So silly of me, I thought my Mandy was unique... she squats and also extends her leg... I thought it was to make sure she didn't pee on herself as well! From all the other posts... I realize she is just normal! With her other sweet quirks she is unique in her own way! lol Cheryl & Mandy |
I have :aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork squaters and :aimeeyork:aimeeyork that lift legs...they are all girls too. Kissy and Candy both squat but extend their right leg...never the left. They balance on 3 legs while they squat. They are so funny. Angel kicks back after she pees too. Kissy only kicks up grass after she poos. :rolleyes: |
My shih tzu has done that for as long as I can remember. But I just noticed 8 mo old Seeter doing it lately. |
