| Growling This probably sounds stupid, but do any of your furkids growl? Sadie is six years old, and I have owned her for four of those years. I have never, ever heard her growl until last night. She was sleeping on the bed, and I was in the den. All of a sudden I hear a growl, and then barking. She also never barked, until about six mos. ago when I took her to my brother's cabin. He has a Maltese that barks alot. It was hilarious seeing the Maltese bark whenever he saw someone walk up the road, and she would sit right next to him and give him this look like, "See, I can bark too". Now, she barks and I love it. She has this cute little bark, and even at that, it is over in 10 seconds. She certainly does not bother the neighbors.

| Gracie and Boo are both very vocal, but not in a yappy sort of way. They will bark or growl to give warning if they see or hear someone at the house. Gracie will also bark at pedestrians or bicyclist when we are in the car. She's very good at warning people to stay away from her family. But they also yammer, chatter, woof, whine and many other types of noises when talking to us. Talk about people thinking you are 'that crazy dog lady' They talk to me all the time when we are out and I, of course, talk back to them. I can so tell what they are focusing on most of the time and often their speeches end with an obvious question mark. Boo asking to go outside, Gracie asking for a treat. Then there are the statements..."Daddy's home!" "Play with me!" I love their talking and I hope they never stop.

| Pasquale doesnt bark too much. In fact, i think sometimes he forgets he can bark. Sometimes he does this little growl and tap dance step...really cute!! Although that usually happens only with two things...either he's playing rough with his toys...OR theres someone on tv he apparently doesnt like as an actor lol

| Maybe he could get a job as a tv executive or movie critic! He couldn't do any worse then the ones out there now deciding on what to put on the air.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Daisy barks & growls at any new noise or if something is out of place in the house. She also lets me know if someone is at the door, etc. She is so funny. I am a neat freak myself, so I hate things being out of their place. My husband teases me telling me I taught Daisy to be like that too. I came inside last night & put my purse on top of our pool table. Daisy went crazy barking at it. She was absolutely fine after I took it upstairs & put it where I usually have my purse. haha They pick up on everything!!
