EWWWWW it stinks!!!!!!!!!!! Before I begin, JEN YOU DECEIVED ME...FOR COCO'S SAKE...BULLWRINKLES STINK!!! haha...Ok so the story is I got Coco the shriveled you know whats, because certain someone said "oh it just smells like jerky, no biggie, just don't get too close". SOOO NOT THE CASE. She loves it though, I don't have the heart to take it away from her but man it stinks. Sorry had to rant. My babies breath smells like a stinky, you know what :( |
I know how you feel, I think they stink too and threw them all out. Phewww! The smell made me gag and the thought of that slimey stinky thing all over my carpets. |
I can't believe I bought it for her. I don't know how some people deal with it. I almost vomited, it smelled so bad. I'm sorry but I had to throw it out. The thought of coming home from work and smelling that piece of peepee on her breath and in my house was too much to bear. |
Who here has one and lets their baby play with it? Stinkiness and all? |
What is it?? |
Ok so don't laugh at me, but I kind of got talked into it...it's bulls penis..that looks all dried up and looks like a stick...Everyone swore by it and said that they absolutely love it..which is true...BUT IT STINKS and it makes their breath wreak |
I got Sadie one - well i didn't buy it willingly lol, I was at SuperPet and my friend works there and was like "They LOVE these" (and then I found out what it was and wanted to cry lol) But Sadie loved it. I made her play with it outside though, I didn't want one of those in the house, but then it started getting stinkier and grossing me out, so when she wasnt looking it went in the garbage! lol |

I got logan a little twisty bone one and it destroyed and ate it in about 2 hours. I think it stinks and gags me. Also whenever I tried to take it away from him he would take whatever piece he was chewing on and swallow it so i couldn't get it. I was so afraid he would choke so he's not allowed to have it unless i'm holding on to the other end. And I would like to thank you all for letting me know what they're made out of I could of been perfectly happy living in darkness,, but you just had to open my eyes to what it is. Now i don't wanna touch it ugggghhhh. Ignorance is bliss. |

Yeah same thing....lol, I WILL NOT give to Maximus after bath....lol, it is a treat he gets on the weekend for an hour before bath time...lol, because then he smells like his face got stuck in a dirty butt crack (sorry to be graphic)...but it is the truth...lol!!! |
LOL!!! They dont stink that bad do they :p :D  |
Ok Jennette....you are the perpetrator then that told me they just smell like jerky...haha...NOTTTT...I swear I almost vomited at the thought of penis residue on my carpet and you're right Sam, their breath does smell like really smelly butt crack. I took her to bed last night and we always sleep face on face (she rests her head on my face so we're breathing in each others faces). I COULDN'T DO IT! and it was frustrating her because she wanted my face. So I had to get up, brush her teeth, feed her some applesauce and a ton of snacks to get rid of that smell before we could go back to sleep. |
Ewwww Gross... Glad I learned what they were.. I dont think my kids will ever get the priviledge of chomping on those.. Too icky!! |
The first time my dogs had bully sticks my friend lied to me too. "Yes" it smells horrible but my dogs love it. But in my case I was stuck in a hotel room with 4 dogs all chewing bully stick. I couldn't escape the smell. Teddy was even kind enough to chew his on the pillow right beside my head. |
Geez, and I thought pigs ears were gross!!!!!! :D |
LOL!! You are so funny, the one I bought didnt smell that bad, I will have to bring Coco one like Missy had so you can see what I'm talking about. Will you still let me come over if I bring a bully stick? :p Oh wait... now that I think of it the thing I gave Missy & Max is called a curley tendon. Has anyone given a curley tendon to their yorkies and does it smell like a bully stick? |
Some how I think my dh would object to this "treat". Neutering talk still gives him shivers down his spine :D And I'll pass on the stinky butt smell.....we get enough of that with litter box crunchies. |

Hahahahaha!! Omg...it could be a movie....too funny. Francie |
Yes, the bully sticks are yucky but they love them and they are digestible so there are so many things they cannot have that I do treat them occasionally to a bully stick! :D |
This thread is so relevant to me today. I got Cookie a giant bullwrinkle for her 1st birthday on Friday. It's like 3 feet long :o: ! So anyways, I had it laying in our spare bedroom until Cookie's birthday. Well, last night I walked in there to get something else and the whole room smelled . What crazy things we will do for our Yorkies! Oh yeah, do you all think 3 feet is really legitimate? Or maybe that they fused a bunch together? What a topic  LOL! |
I think they stink too and got rid of mine! |
My pup is spoiled as most of the pups here but I AM SORRY, she is not going to get these treats anymore..haha...I can't handle the smell. If I could I would just bear it, but I can't. I refuse to walk around my house gagging..haha |
Toby had horrible breath too. |
Im so glad I didnt got Gucci one of those cause I couldn't take that smell. Gucci is spoil but Im sorry Im not getting anything that smells like a butt crack,. |
wow ..thanks for the heads up!! |

Bruce has everything from homemade cheesy cookies to the indoor self cleaning piece of grass I just ordered so he does not have to hold it in the night or while he is alone, but Bully sticks are the one thing he will never have again! No matter how much he loves them (which he does) I have to draw the line somewhere!!! Before I was aware of what these were I made the mistake of opening them up and giving him one to chew on since we were embarking on a long drive. The smell really did make me dry heave and I had to throw the thing out the window...They are just horrid and the thought of the scent getting on furniture or anything nearly makes me sick. ICK ICK ICK! |
