I feel your pain. Bobby wakes up numerous times in the night to bark at nothing. I dont think that we have had a full nights rest in months. My husband is getting really frustrated. I hope you find a solution that works for you. |
I do not have an xpen, I used a pack n play when I got Blaze and I allowed Autumn to go in it a few times but she (to our shock and amazement) was able to jump out of it! So I won't let her go in it because we were so concerned that she would break something and really injury herself. I don't even know if they sell covers for them. |
We had a problem with Harley for a few nights and then we discovered (or at least we think) that he was cold. Could she be cold? Just a thought. Jeri and Harley:aimeeyork |

Cold is definitely not her issue. I think she just feels the need to ALWAY'S be on watch but for whatever reason it has gotten much worse at night time. If she wasn't waking up my children I wouldn't mind so much but she wakes them up several times a night and they have school the next day. I did decide to try putting them in their crate lastnight. I covered it up and left a light on for them. It went fairly well. They slept all night until my alarm rang at 4:15 and of course they went crazy once they heard me but the first night was successful and both of my children are still sleeping and slept through the night w/out waking up! |

I actually felt better having Chance in the crate lastnight because he is much smaller I was always so affraid that he would jump off the bed and hurt a leg or his back or neck. I never felt like I slept well w/him in my bed because of that worry. We will see how tonight goes! |
Hope that you are starting to get some rest. We keep Selah downstairs in the powder room with her crate and pee pad almost every night. Once a month or so, if we don't have to be up early, or my husband is out of town, Selah gets to stay with us. She knows its a treat, then, and really behaves. Hang in there, you can do it! |
