welcome to YT ! Zoe is A doll ! my Suzi is 7 months old, and she is A wall chewer . Suzi has gotten a little better about this though. Have fun on here, there is loads of feedback and information on here :thumbup:

I have never been to red bar but I have heard of it. :) I am right on 30-A and Hwy98. I LOVE it here. :) I'm not home during the day so I found crate training her to be much easier.

Just want to thank everyone for responding. :) I really appreciate it and so does Zoë. :) I know this probably isn't the right thread to ask this but does anyone have any info on shaving ears? A lady at petsmart (a groomer there) suggested I have her ears shaved so they can stand up. I want her ears to stand but I really dont want to have her ears shaved. Does anyone know of an alternative way to do this? And I wouldn't take my baby girl to Pet's mart. I've heard horror stories. :confused: Anywho... I hope everyone is having a wonderful evening.

Zoë and I are about to go cuddle on the couch. :aimeeyork

Well it's like a herd if i take my 12 somewhere so i guess i will have to pass on that - I could come meet if i just bring a couple but then i have to decide which ones to take and i am afraid of giving the others a complex if i leave them home so see - i am back to square one with deciding :D:D:confused:

Just kidding - i can bring a couple and meet to play some time.

Well, you really should get the upper third of her ears shaved. It will lighten the load on the ears and if they are going to stand they will in time. You can also put tape across the top of both ears. I've seen a lot of people put one strip across both ears on the front and another strip across the back. I never did. I never taped the ears. Too lazy.:) But their ears are cuter standing if you can get them to do that. Good luck.:)

Thank you. I think I will just take her to get them shaved and hope it grows back fast. lol THX again. :)

Haha.. Bring them all. lol 12 doggies huh? Wow. I'll see how I can handle one and then consider getting her a play mate. :)

definitely shave the end 1/3 of the ears and give them a chance to stand and get strong , then you can let the hair grow -
if you care to PM me i will send you more info or just call you and walk you through it since you are so close to me - I have groomed Yorkies for 25 years so i guess i am qualified:cool:

I am a little scared to do it myself. :confused: I'd be too nervous and cut half her ear off. Is that something I can take her to the groomers for? I plan on taking her in a few weeks. When she gets over her cold. It's almost gone. THANK GOD.

Is Santa Rosa Beach near Destin? I think hubby and I visted there on our anniversary. I had a nice facial at Roland's.

Hello. :) Yes, it is just outside of Destin. Closer to HWY 331. This area is beautiful. Great beaches.

I am addicted to this site. lol You can never have TOO much info.

Zoe is beautiful!

Be warned, sometimes the toe biting NEVER stops :D. Garrett always tries to bite my feet while I'm walking down the stairs, or going somewhere he doesn't think I should go:). He growls and gets quite vicious sometimes too.

Again, welcome, YT will become your guardian angel while raising your furbaby.
