| Humping Question? I have Ruby my yorkie female 5 months old and Valentino my pomeranian 4 months old. I always said ever since getting Valentino that as soon as Ruby went through her first heat that I would not let them play together any more as I do not intend to have Yorkiepoms. So today they were out playing and Valentino was more interested than ever before he even got on top of her and started you know..... I even saw his penis pop out. I never thought this possible as he only is 4months old and I checked her and her vulva looked normal and have not spotted blood anywhere as far as I know. Can you tell me is it possible for me to breed this early. Could she possibly be in heat even if I checked and her area isn't swollen or bleeding? I just don't understand. I don't really like this idea but knew the time would come when this would happen as I got a male pom and my yorkie is a female. Please poor-in all input. thanks for reading. |

| There is good odds that Mr. Valentino didn't 'find' what he was looking for. My male chi humped a lot before surgery, and still does now from time to time, but he never seemed to aim right. At 5 months, I think it's a bit early for heat, but there are some early bloomers. Might be time to put on some bloomers, just in case! Good luck.

| They would have had to lock, how long was it since she has been in heat? If she isn't ovulating and they didn't lock you will be fine.
