Red-leg in line? At 1.5 yrs., Liberty has developed what is looking like a normal texture coat that is 2/3 to floor now, despite my originally having concerns about the texture of the "blue" saddle part of the coat. His legs and top of his head are light blonde - called tan?? - BUT his face is a very, very deep gold that looks quite very RED in sunlight. Does that mean he has a red-legged in his line? I wish his genogram (don't know what breeders call it) notated what the color variations of each ancestor were. I personally prefer the lighter tan types but I love my little Liberty baby just the way he is!!!!! |
My Kingston is a red legged Yorkie. He is 7 month and his hair really hasn't grown much since he was about 4 months. He is the cutest lil thing, and honestly I like the low maintenance when it comes to grooming. I had a Shih Tzu and spent so much money on hair cutes to avoid tangling, so Kingston is a dream come true! |

Hi and Welcome to YT I think my Buster may have some red legged Yorkie in his genes. He has a coppery color and the hair on his legs is very thin. When he had to have it shaved for LP surgery it took forever to grow back. Your Belle is adorable! |
My first and last girl had black body hair, face & legs were auburn. Their AKC paper had their coloring as "blue". |
2 Attachment(s) We were told by Kyra's breeder that she thought Laddy was one. I will show you his puppy pictures and one more recent he has really dark legs and chest hair and his hair never achieves great length. |

People on here have told me they think my Mia is a red legged yorkie. The hair on her face and the backs of her front legs grow more than the rest of her but the hair on her body never grows to below her belly. I have a few pictures on here of her. I love her just the way she is. She is my furry best friend. |
