I just don't know what to do, I know theres a good puppy in there... but I just need for it to come out. Please help!!
We started bringing him out into the yard to run and get extra energy out... do you think it could have made him MORE wild? | Did he get all his shots already? If yes then you could take him to your backyard and start on housebreaking. It takes a lot of patience with that but at the end its all worth it. ;) Try to search Training section of this forum. There are a lot of threads about housebreaking.
To stop him from biting, give him a toy instead of your leg or your arm. He is teething that what is causing him to bite a lot too. ;)
What worked for me is:
when your puppy is trying to bite your hand, scream loud ouch and make believe you are hurt. Also make your hand limb. That will definitely get his attention and he will stop. Then ignore the pup for 10-15 secs. Then go back to playing with him. Just repeat the steps each time he tries to bite.
The thing is he doesnt know he is hurting you, that is why you have to tell him. They dont understand what we say so we have to make it more obvious to them. Hope it works for you. ;)
