| Sooo excited! Saturday afternoon it was gorgeous out and me and my bf decided to take my boys for a walk across the street to the holistic pet store that opened a couple months ago that I haven't been in yet. This store is AMAZING! They are called American Pets. The girl gave me samples of dog food .. taste of the wild... and my dogs LOVE it. I guess Im going to start feeding them that. Anyone know about this food? I did a search here but read or found very little on it. Lemme know what you think. I also FINALLY found bully sticks! I was sooo excited! I asked the girl for a treat that would keep my boys interest and last for an hour or so, so that I can do homework and she brought me RIGHT to bully sticks and told me yorkies love them for some reason. haha I was soo excited to find them, she was laughing at me. THEN for the best surprise of all..... my most favorite groomer (who left the place I take my dogs) works at this place! soooo I found her!!! Im super happy about that! I wanted to hug her! LOL She does such a GREAT job with my boys... cuts them EXACTLY perfect! This place has EVERYTHING! And its across the street! wooohoo!!! I can only make it on thursday nights or saturdays because they have weird hours, but thats ok. I have a feeling I could spend my whole paycheck there if I could go everyday! LOL Not to mention but taste of the wild dog food is WAY cheaper than royal canin, and according to the store WAY better for the dogs!

| Yeah thats the food. I try to get personal opinions of it from others who have used it instead of just website information because Im sure that is biased info from the company who makes it. Yesterday I got home from school and my boys had a lot of poop all over the kitchen floor do you think its the food or do you think it might be upsetting them to change their food? I did mix the new food in with the old food so they didnt get ALL new food yet, but they mainly ate around the old food and went for the new food. That could be what upset one of their stomachs right?

| All I have to say about the dog food is this: Write the company and ask if they give tours to see how the food is made.

| It's what I feed Lilly. We recently switched from Wellness Super5Mix to Taste of Wild Pacific Stream, she likes it and it's helped some with her itching already. I'm giving it a while longer before I really rave about anything to do with allergies. Your dog's poo is probably how it is because of the switch to the new food. I've always been told that it'll be that way switching from a icky food to a good food because it's cleaning the icky out. It should pass soon.

| Yeah, I use weird and funny words to describe things... I usually just go with the flow and type what comes to mind . I e-mailed the company earlier to ask if I could take a tour and their response was no because their insurance won't allow it. I don't know if that's true or not, the lady that responded was pretty nice. Who knows. I get tired of worrying about foods all the time. So, would that really be the truth - the whole insurance ordeal or are they just using it as an excuse?! What would be the reason to ask if you could take a tour? To see how they prepare the food or? Thanks!

| I would think that most companies that make food would not allow outsiders in to tour, unless they did have that type of insurance. Its food, you probably shouldn't have people walking around it who don't belong there for liability sake. I dunno though!
