I was on the computer doing my usual morning internet rounds, when I looked to my right. Maya was in her "upstairs" bed just waiting until I took a break so she could get her belly rub/kiss (yes, I kiss my baby's belly, so sue me;). I reached for the camera and I just KNEW she was going to move, but she must have been seriously in need of some lovin cause she stayed there, even AFTER I took the picture...Like are you through now, may I please have my belly rub. Yorkies....you gotta love em.

Aweeeeeeee that is so precious!! When i'm on the computer...this is usually when Pasquale zips his ball across the house and races like a greyhound to go get it. The sound of his racing feet just makes me giggle.

Corrupting the neighbors
 
I have a neighbor and her daughter who early on were Maya's biggest fans. If I am outside with her, they stop the car and get out to play with her. Couple weeks ago they had an appointment to look at a puppy (yorkie boy). I just found out they bought him....his name is Bear, and as soon as I can get some pictures I will post them. Now Maya has a playmate YEAHHHHHH

That's the position Gypsy will get into for belly rubs. She will just go in to a dive onto her back for some.

Aww that is SO cute. I can't resist kissing my little Tootsy's soft, pink, warm tummy either. She just tolerates it though - I think she thinks I am nuts! She does love tummy rubs though. Our furbabies are just too adorable, aren't they.

The experts on Animal Planet say they don't love belly rubs at all....they say it is an act of submission to the alpha male, a show of respect so to speak. Don't tell them our yorkies really do like it.;)

Have you seen this commercial that starts off with the Mommie and her human baby that says "you obsess about your baby's belly?" I think about it every time I see that commercial.

I think it's going to have to be one of my new favs. Right now she is in the same bed by the computer, but she just rolled her eyes at me, turned her back and balled up in a knot. I have her air drying, less traumatic than the blow dryer.
