Congratulations to you, Bogey, Doodlebug, and Pebbles! I love the first pic of him with the groomer. Just a little love and attention, and look how he responds! That picture tells so much! I'm looking forward to seeing more pics!

Finally, he was able to feel his undecended testicle which is also good news! All in all he said he's got a clean bill of health. A few minor adjustments and he will be just about perfect. He really is a little peanut and weighed in at a whopping 5.21 lbs. Now if I could just get some pictures:rolleyes:

Don't these little ones make you so sad! My little puppy mill Chihuahua just stood in one place for hours when I first got her. She didn't know about a soft bed to sleep in, didn't know about toys, didn't know about having room to run around, didn't know about treats, didn't know about being loved. I sat on the couch and cried several times when I first got her to see how afraid she was and to think about how she had lived for the first nine months of her life. Give your sweet little one a big hug for us.

Thank you too for taking in your little mill baby too! If more people opened their heart and home to these poor little guys the shelters would not be a death sentence to so many animals. They might not all be pure breed or perfect but the ALL love the same way. Oh great now I'm crying!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes: He definitely knows what a treat is now and hops right up and down the stairs this morning to go outside and potty. Still wearing belly bands but no accidents inside or even in the belly band. Now Doodlebug-lets just saw we are still working on him. Belly bands are the bomb!;)

Congratulations and thank you for giving little Bogey a loving home! It's overwhelming sometimes to see how just a little love and these babies are so grateful. God bless you for rescuing him and giving him a forever home!

Jodie that first picture made me cry. To not know where he came from but to see how far he had come just in that short time already. So glad to hear the adjustment is going good not only for him but for you, Doodlebug and Pebbles as well.

Doodlebug is a little chunker but they look so much alike! They are just little hams when they are together.

Petco give anyone who rescues a dog either from a shelter or a rescue a coupon book with $250 worth of coupons as appreciate for rescuing! I think that is just wonderful! :good job:

All you need to do in bring in your paperwork from the rescue or shelter and they give you the book. It has coupons for PREMIUM dog feed (free 10 lb bag) plus a second coupon for $5 off, beds, crates, leashes, treats, grooming, just about anything you could think of comes in this book! :)

I showed them the paperwork for Doodlebug and Bogey and the gave me 2 books! Yeah for PETCO!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I will be spending ALL my money there from now on!

Desmond is a real cutie pie and I know that he will be so happy with you and so loved BY you! What a wonderful outcome this was! :hug:

P.S. - Can I just add in that Margaret is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet (even if you didn't get the pleasure of meeting her in person). It was so like her to post the thread about Desmond....that's just the type of loving and caring person she is! :)

Oh thank you! Margaret is not all that far away from me in "cheeseheadland" so maybe we will get to meet! That would be wonderful. After meeting her sister Jane, I can only imagine what a great person she would be as well! :)

Congratulations to Bogey!!! Sounds like he is adjusting well to his new family. He is a real cutie.... that face is adorable!!! It shouldn't take long for him to adjust.... especially with Doodlebug "showing him the ropes"!

Oh he's so cute, and he DOES look like his brother...what a pair. As sson as Bogey's hair lengthens a little under your good care, they will look like twins. It's a wonderful thing that he came to a home with other yorkies, and he will potty train easier by watching them. YOu must sleep well at night lady.

WOW! Your story is amazing.......it really is! It made me check myself more and wonder what I don't do :(. It truly is one of the sweetest stories I have ever heard! Your baby is adorable!!!!!!!

Oh you are SO LUCKY to live close to Margaret! She is such a DOLL! When she came down we got to visit for a few hours but I wish we would have had MORE TIME....she is the type of person that you could sit and chat with all day long :) So down to earth and just an all around sweetheart :hug: She will be coming back to visit hopefully next year :hands: and I can't wait to be able to spend more time with her and hopefully her wonderful husband Al :hug:
