| i feel horrible! I feel like the worst mom ever! I have a min. Schnauzer who has several warts, so one day I felt a small wart on my Yorkie's chin i tried to look at it but was impossible she moves like you won;t believe but I did manage to glance at about three very thick hair comming out of that spot so I was convinced she also had warts and thought it was kind of cute and teased her about being like her brother and sometime later there was another one on the other side and same story... well yesterday much to my surprise as I was bathing her I lifted her chin to rinse it out and spotted the "wart" but it was dark (my shnauzer'rs are white-pinkish) so I froze and thought no way... but unfortunately it was a tick! i was in shock it has been so long I mean weeks or even months with this horrible thing stuck to her not one but two of them! What i don't understand is how long do these things live for? Most incredible is that I have her on frontline, and have not missed a month so i dont know what is going on. She was been to the vet and groomers several times and we all missed these nasty thing! I feel so bad and at the same time am so confused, should I change to another product? HELP After I carefully pulled them out and inspected that they came out completely I looked for the "wart" just in case (and trying to feel better with myself) but didn't feel anything but of course she doesn't want me touching the area much. |

| Its not your fault, its not like you purposely know it was there and left it there so dont beat yourself up for it! I would def switch products though, obviously its not working. My mother lives in Maine and normally uses this and she has mention to me that it hasnt been working that well recently so I wonder if maybe they changed the formula or it went bad?? |

| Because you found two ticks on your pup does not mean Frontline is not working. Read the label and you will see that NOT ALL ticks will die when they bite. There are several species that Frontline will not kill. I have been threw the samething and called them. They told me that as well. I still use it because I believe it to be the better of them all. After almost five years and one incident I think I can't complain too much. Frontline has now put out another product that does kills them all. |

| awww..poor baby, ,dont feel so bad,, stuff happens,, bless your heart,,, but i would say, ,Vectra 3D,, will get the ticks,, even REPEL them,, as it does mosquitos and fleas,, its what our vet recommends,, we dont use it yet,, as we dont have a need, but my daughter got it and uses it on her 2 Yorkies,, they live where they have several outside dogs and horses,, etc,, and have lots of fleas and ticks in the summer,, said her Yorkies would run out to do their business,, come back in and they've have ticks crawling on their hair,, and after using the Vectra 3D,, they dont even get on them! she is thrilled with its use!
