What are your pups going to be for Halloween? Ok, so the costumes are out in the stores and it's decision time..... What are you dressing your pups & other pets (if you have others) as for Halloween? I have some fun ideas but of course my ideas are not available in the stores or online because they are very unique. Where are you getting/purchasing your costumes at or are you having them made/making them yourself? Does anyone know anyone on YT that will make our special Halloween requests? I purchased 2 purple monkey costumes at Target last night for my pups just to use as a backup plan in case I can't get the ones I want made. I also got a rooster hat for my cat. Haha! |
I have a witch costume for Jewels and a firefighter costume for Chachi but I dont know if Ill use them. I saw a real cute hotdog costume at Target I may get Chachi. I would love to dress Jewels up as Tinkerbell because My Daughter is tinkerbell this yr so they would be matching. I will probably get it when I get back from my trip |
My Mom got Zoe a little bee costume and and a lady bug costume. Now for the but .... they're really big on her! She's only 4 months old so she'll surely have grown by the time she wears them, but the bee is so big I don't know if she'll ever fit in it properly! (And both costumes are XS!) So she's got 2 costumes but at this rate I'm not sure if she'll even wear one! :laugh: |
I got Kramer a little devil costume, because he is my little devil, at petco, but if i see anything cuter, i'll probably change it. He, however, is not happy about wearing a costume.:D |
My girls are going as ghosts. A YT member here made the outfits, they came from sissyangelwear. Not custom. I am adding my own embellishments to complete the look. Gracie won a costume contest with her outfit from sissyangelwear last year, so we decided to do it again. Jodie, the dresses are so darn cute! |
Daisy and Teddy are going as Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Jodi at ChloeBella made the outfits. They are adorable. |

Here is the only picture I have. She wore a spider web harness dress and I put some cob webs in her hair. Her costume was Charlotte's web. She looked so cute and I got more complements on that harness dress! Sorry this picture does not have her in the cob webs but you can get the idea. |

I think Autumn is going to be a Bumble Bee (because she is the queen bee of course!:rolleyes:) Blaze is going to be a monkey (we swear the costume even looks llike him:p) Chance is going to be a hotdog. My kids wanted him to be a prisoner because we rescued him and they said he had to live behind bars until we did!:( |

Layla is not big on costumes :( But she has a really cute pumpkin t-shirt and a halloween bow she will wear during the day and a pumpkin "costume" (just a shirt with a pumpkin face on it and the hood has the top of the pumpkin) for the trick or treaters. Last year she was a princess and when i put the costume on she woudn't move.. lol.. |
Finnigan was a prison inmate last year, but we just went and picked up a dogula costume he may wear this year. I'm not sure how long he'll keep it on, but I always have a pumpkin shirt as a back up! |
Abby's going to be a Lady Bug...it's perfect for her since she's so dark and tiny. Daisy's going to be a Little Lamb, because she's built like a lamb and is much lighter in color! My little doggies are going to bugs and sheep! Bzzzz, Bhaaaa:p |

I got Lilly the pumpkin costume at Petco and now wish I wouldn't have. I don't even think I'll put it on her, not sure though. It like bunches up way too much so you can't even tell what it is. I'll probably just pop her Halloweenie bow in her hair and call it a day. |

The only one of my dogs that will wear a costume is my therapy Bichon, Cosmo. He has several costumes, one is a pumpkin and another is a skunk, that would work for Halloween, but I ordered him a Yoda costume. The kids we visit at the children's library will be anxiously waiting to see what he will be wearing. He won a trophy last year at a costume contest wearing his pumpkin costume. |

mitzys going to be a pig and I'm going to be a farmer/cowgirl! and our other dog has a hotdog costume from last year although target has this cute costume online we might get him. its a cowboy on a saddle that you strap to the dog so it goes with my theme (: |
Cooper is going to wear a Halloween bandana. He wont move when I put a costume on him. I can barely get a sweater on him in the winter. |
3 Attachment(s) Ok since we are in the South and football is considered a religion around here...I have been thinking about dressing my boys up at Bear Bryant and Nick Saban! I just don't know how to do it! I need to do to Hobby Lobby to look at the hats in the doll section! If anyone has any idea let me know! I might just order the elephant costume and make them be Big Al, but I think we def. want to go with something that has to do with Alabama Football! |

Doodlebug is going as Prince Charming and Pebbles or course is the Princess. Have not decide yet how I will pull off the Princess but Prince Charming came from Old Navy and is adoralbe. Purple cap and gold lame crown! :D |

Well 11 years ago..i remember my neighbor bringing over their newborn son in his first halloween costume..it was a bumble bee. So i thought to carry on the neighborhood tradition....id bring over my first newborn son in his bumble bee costume LoL I had Pasquale try on the costume at the store...everyone that walked by said "now thats a winner". Although i do remember my husband saying..."oh god...the poor dog" LoL |
