| Going to the groomer... Every time I've taken Mocha to the groomer's, he's always gotten the complete package (bath, nail trim, haircut). Although I like the groomer he goes to, I still think it's pretty stressful for him. I've been thinking that I'd prefer to give him a bath myself and just go to the groomer for a haircut and nail trim. I would do the complete grooming myself, as I have all the supplies, but I just don't want to butcher him with my haircutting skills (or lack of) . Anyways, I was wondering if any of you take your babies to the groomer for only a haircut (no bath)? I wonder if it's standard/customary for groomers to bathe them before grooming? Does it make it easier for them to cut them after they've just been bathed? Should I just have the groomer bathe him, or is it ok that I bath him the night before and just have the groomer cut his hair the next morning? Any suggestions?

| I do not believe that they will cut the hair without giving them a bath after. My groomer cuts Sal hair first and trims the nail then give him a bath to remove all the excess hair. |
