McKenzie is on a time out! Man oh man...let me tell you I've never had a baby get into as many things as my Mckenzie!!! I don't get it? She gets all my attention, she has TONS of toys and chewys, and she has brothers and sisters to beat up :) She has chewed the paint off my wall, chewed up my molding, she is tearing up one of the beds, and just now...... I caught her chewing the corner of one of our new chairs!!! OMG is hubby finds out, I'll never hear the end of it. She tore the material and I tried to use a perminant marker to camoflauge the torn material. My gosh...WHY is she so mischivious? :( I love her to death and I sat her down and had a long talk with her and made her go to her room for a time out by herself (well only for like 30 seconds cuz then I felt bad and put her brother and sisters in with her:p) BUT WTH??? Seriously non of my babies have ever done this. You should see my wall. I have to repaint it and the molding is trashed. :( I just needed to vent, I wouldn't trade any of my babies for the world, and I know she doesn't mean any harm...Welp, I guess she just blowed all the freedom I've been letting her have. She was doing sooooooooo good too! No diaper and full roam with NO accidents...completely going only on the pee pad. Ever have one of those days? |
Bernie did the same thing when he was a puppy. Puppies just chew. You lucked out if your others didn't do it. Bernie chewed up my dining room chair legs, and door casings. You name it he chewed it, and he too, had all the chew toys in the world. Now, I spray everything with Bitter Apple. It works, spray all his favorite no no chew areas with it. |
McKenzie be good to mommy:aimeeyork:p and make sure that daddy gets tons of kisses when he get home and see the chair:eek::p |
All my puppies were chewers. Darla has our floor boards wrecked. We will replace them when she out growns the chewing stage. |
2 Attachment(s) Isn't it awful how they can be?! Drives you nuts, doesn't it? Little meanie heads! You can't help but forgive them for their mischief but then again you still want to be mad! Lilly and I had an awful day not too long ago, this picture should explain everything. Btw, it happened twice in the same day. Attachment 242355 Attachment 242356 I was washing our sheets and she must have not liked it, so she decided to shred our memory foam topper . So to answer your question, yes, we've had one of those days ;). |

I can hear something that doesn't sound "right"..like digging in a room, or something that sounds like chewing or something...and just say "McKenzie"! (without even seeing who it is) and sure enough...........guess who comes from where the sounds are being made! :p |

Oh Brenda I am so sorry that you have been having such a bad day with (sweet lol) little McKenzie :( Do you have something that you could give her to really CHEW ON? I mean something that she can really chew on and sink her teeth into for a while to keep her "busy?" If I put Yorkie Yummies in the Everlasting Treat Ball Tatum will sit and mess with that thing trying to get the treats out for THE LONGES TIME I swear  She also likes the Everlasting Treat Ball "Crowns" that come in them when you first buy the Treat Ball itself (you can get the replacement "Crowns" at Petsmart) - man...I swear she would spend 2 hours chewing on that thing and I'm not kidding!! Maybe something like this would help get all the "chewing rage" out of her system LOL. I am so sorry about your walls and molding though girl...my hubby would freak out too  I can only imagine how frustrated you must be :( |
Shes just mischevious Mom! I have defintely had one of those days. Like the day mine tore up the lenoleum in my bathroom or tore A hole in mycarpet. But I figure it was my fault beecause I gave them too much freedom. Now they never tear up anything |

Ok...upon further investigation....seems one of the kongs was under the chair and she may have been frustrated trying to get it and started to chew the chair instead. That makes more sence BUT not the wall and molding LOL I have all those chews...but since I have more than 2 babies...they FIGHT over EVERYTHING so when I bring all the goodies out, all they want to do is fight over who gets what. I have a few ever lasting treat balls. Quite a few kongs.... Tomorrow I will fill everything up and see what happens. Quote:

And these little buggers here are enjoying their time away from their yorkie sisters and having their mom all to themselves! Tia and Zoey are laying in a bed right next to me while I'm on the computer. |
