There's is always one in the family that makes parents want to scream... Your little darling fits the profile. My Suzi has chewed up the wooden doorframe... they love wood .Even though she has a ton of toys, she still goes for the forbidden .:aimeeyork |

And yes I hear you on them fighting over things too  Stedman doesn't fight Tatum for anything (he's my sweet baby :)) but if Stedman had something and TATUM wants it??? WATCH OUT!!! She turns into a little devil dog LOL. No not really, but she WILL take it from him :( Yeah - I say fill those suckers up girl!! :D Who knows, it MIGHT help! :D  |
Ouch! I feel your pain! Imagine, someday you will look back on this and laugh...well, maybe smile :) |
Hehe…you sound like my boyfriend. While I was gone for a few days, his pups chewed up the molding in the kitchen! He tried to hide it! Its by the sliding glass door in the back and it is on a corner so it is only like 3 inches of molding, but I saw it within 10 minutes of being home. Its crazy because they never do anything like that when I am home with them, but when it is just my BF they turn into different dogs! (Bad dogs!) |
Coral is the same way. She likes to (try to, for the most part,) climb on tables and chairs. |
Let me tell you the story of a beautiful antique four poster bed that my parents bought for me, and my father refinished, when I moved into my first apartment. The footboard became Charlie's personal teething ring. For years, I had to cover it with a quilt. Both Charlie and the bed are long gone. My father still talks about it. |
Sounds like Chip. He is the most destructive little dog... He chewed a whole in the linoleum floor about the size of a large basketball, there are two large wholes the size of baseballs in our wall with the pain ripped off for a good foot, chewed on the baseboards, there is a nice sized whole in the carpet and a nice sized ink stain from a black gel pen that he chewed up. |

Breny, I understand, I truly do. Electrical cords and computer cables don't stand a chance with this litter of pups. So far they have chewed through the printer power cord (twice and once when it was covered with cable protector), the keyboard cable, the power cable for the conversion box for my sewing machine and the computer cable for same piece of equipment. I have spliced the power cord on my $100 iron so many times that if they get it again, I will have to replace it. They have also destroyed a USB wireless adaptor - hummmm my kids have lots of computer skills :) It isn't that I am careless with the cables - they are all hidden behind desks and protected with cable protectors -- they have managed to chew through the protectors to get to a couple of them. Now I am armed with a can of "boundary", a can with some coins and a "mean mommy voice" that says NO NO BAD PUPPY. Funny thing is when I say BAD PUPPY, the guilty one stops what he/she is doing and looks at me - they KNOW who I was talking to. So.... Breny, I feel your pain. It does get better. The pups don't like the smell of the Boundary and don't like Mommy's mean voice so they have just about forgotten about chewing on cables. |
LOL Your McKenzie sound just like my little imp, Katy Lou. She plays nonstop all day long without a break! And she is cutting teeth and wants to chew everything, including me! I hold my breath everytime she nears my leather pit group. So far all she does is lick the leather. Needless to say she is only out of her Xpen when we can supervise. Thankfully we have a toy poodle for her to chew on. Poor guy- he tolerates her so well. I have found the only item she will spend any length of time to chew on is a bully stick. I hate the thing but she loves it. |
Otis did a number on my wallpaper border. It runs along the bottom of the window. Perfect to peel off while sitting on the back of the couch. Neither one of my boys were particularly destructive, but he did ruin the wallpaper border under the window. It's still ripped, 3.5 years later! I think the only thing Oliver chewed on was my library card. My dog literally ate my library card. Hope your sweet little girl turns a corner soon. |
