I have a litter of yorkie puppies for sale and had a woman call me....she wanted to trade her 8 month old yorkie male for one of my male puppies...she bought at a pet shop and she says he is just too big for what she wants...he is 7lbs...anyway she said she has akc papers for him...he is yorkie and silky terrior mix...I have never heard of this...I did tell her not interested but anyone here of this?

Unbelievable....I've never heard of anything like that! That is so sad! There are a whole lot of cuckoos out there! I feel so bad for that 8 month old she does have cause who knows where he could end up!

How is there AKC papers on a mixed breed dog??

This is not a good idea to consider--trading puppies with a stranger. JMHO

Your puppies are purebred with papers. What she has is a mixed breed dog and it does not have A.K.C. papers. Yorkie and Silky mix pups are beautiful and weigh about 10 + pounds when full grown... I feel so sorry for her pup having an owner that doesn't care what happens to you, POOR GUY... It takes all kinds...

It takes all kinds!! I have also had people wanting to trade: gold jewelry, fire wood, handyman work and other breeds of dogs.

I had someone want to trade me my newborn female puppy for her newborn female puppy. She wanted to do it right then too! I was shocked.

My first impulse when I read this ... "Yep, I would call her back and simply say ... "Here's your sign!!" " And then hang up!! Breeders have hard enough time just trying to protect their line without having to deal with wierdos!

That stupid lady shouldn't have a dog! Hate when people "exchange" their pets! Poor little one is too big???

Ya they told me Teddy would be max 6lbs and he is 8.5 lbs.. and yes I do which he was smaller, but I love him just as much!

Keep your puppy away from that bad lady...
