Well done for the rescue. Ideally you should have took photos of the dogs when you got them when they were in a state. That way if the abusing owner tried to claim them back you have evidence of the state they were in. I have 'liberated' dogs and cats before now and have had them rehomed in a different area in the country, so the abusing owners cannot trace them. I have even liberated a fox hound from a fox hunt!!:) |
Bless your hearts for doing this!! those poor babies!!!! :( i am SO SO glad you and your daughter were able to do this for them!! wishing you all the best, please keep us updated! |
Those poor babies...I\'m so glad they are in good hands now. Bless their hearts...and yours too. |
Bless your heart for saving those poor babies! |
God bless you and your daughter! I truly believe there is a special place in heaven for people who rescue the way you 2 did. I saw a s**t tzu on animal cops one time that was matted the way you\'re describing. The fur literally came off in a "helmet" in the shape of the dog. That poor baby had skin problems, but was absolutely beautiful and happy when shown months later with its new family. You\'ve done a wonderful thing! |
Oh this makes me just want to cry:cry: How COULD he?!?!?! It just kills me that anyone can treat innocent animals in such a horrible manner:( I wish someone would lock people like this in a cage, outside in hot weather, with no water:mad: I\'m so glad that they are safe now:love:! |
I\'m so thankful there are caring people like you out there!!!! You and your daughter are WONDERFUL! Best of luck!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup: |
What a rewarding thing you and your daughter are doing. Thank God they are with you. You really think you\'ll be able to give them up? Bless their little hearts, they are learning what love it. |
thank you, thank you , thankyou, :mademyday, big hugs |
Thank god for you and your daughter! Those three dogs are the luckiest dogs alive right now!!!! |
I was trully amazed to find very few issues with there skin after removing all the mats.. I did see the shi zu on the animal planet. they were very much like that. There feet were the worst. They had what looked like REALLY hard softballs on the ends of there legs so they could barely walk... I will find it hard to give them up, BUT I have 2 and I really cant afford more vet costd for any more So I am going to find GREAT homes where they will get everything they deserve.. One is with a close friend right now. Shes being taken to a vet today to make sure she is healthy and I am pretty sure she will keep her.. She did cry all night last night, but if they can get through that I am sure she will keep her whice means I will get to see her in a few months when her fur grows beautiful and she is happy.... |
awww WTG , what a wonderful thing you did  |
Those poor pups. How that must have hurt them every minute with all those mats. I know the mats pull on the skin causing pain. Thanks to you and your daughter for saving them. Your both very special. Can\'t wait to see pictures. Finger\'s crossed they are healthy and you find them loving homes that will spoil them rotten:p |
You and your daughter are both amazing. Good luck! |
You and your daughter are wonderful people. I hope the house training goes well. I just don\'t understand why people get and/or keep dogs if they aren\'t going to take care of them. When I get to heaven God may just send me back after I start asking all of my "why" questions. I could drive even him crazy with them. |
