Does your baby sit with both back legs out? Max is a 9 months old male and he can lay down with both legs out like in a split. Is this ok or does he have hip problems? He doesn't act like it hurts or anything, it's just I never had a dog do this. I'm hoping I'm just overreacting. Thanks again for putting up with some of my dumb questions

PS he goes to the vets next week

Lying down "froggie style" IS so adorable. Sometimes my guys will lay down like that and kind of crawl by stretching their front legs.

I thought something was wrong when I saw that too. I agree, it is really cute when they sit like that. Especially when their feet hair is long.

Mine lays down and just pops his back legs straight out behind him like they had springs in them... LOL Sometimes when he jumps on my and lays down he just plopps down with his legs stretched out as well...

Do boys do this more than girls?

I have never seen Ivy do this. I almost called the vet, He would have thought I was nuts.

Now that you mention boys~Doodlebug definetly does it more than Pebbles. I will pick him up and he'll just stretch himself all the way out and gives kisses. SOOOO cute

Pebbles just flops onto her back.

My little girl Selah always lays like that. I've only seen her in the normal "sphinx" position very few times.

There are no silly questions FYI!! I think my b/f thinks I'm physco over the stuff I worry about!!! LOL

My babies do this all the time...I think it is sooooo cute
