Looky, Looky at our UYR raffle prize!
 

Oh gosh, we're so excited! We won the prize that Denise donated, which was a $30 gift certificate to Connie's Creations! Connie had just recently lost her beloved nephew Rich when the drawing was held, so I talked to Denise and decided to wait a while before I contacted her.

Connie and Denise are two of the sweetest people! And not only am I happy to have won such a beautiful prize, I'm thrilled to have met two such wonderful people.
Connie was an absolute joy to work with on picking out the fabric for the girl's dresses. Oh my goodness did I ever have a hard time deciding :confused: It wouldn't have matter what I chose, Connie does such beautiful work, they're all great!

While talking back and forth with Connie, I got to see what a very special lady she is and my heart goes out to her and her family for thier tragic loss. Even though she was going through such a terrible time, she made time for me and my babies and for that I am grateful. Not only did she make the dresses, she added some extra surprises to our package! I will post pictures of everything.
She even made the beautiful matching bows and wouldn't let me pay her for them. I tell ya, I couldn't have gotten a better prize from two better ladies!
I feel like I not only won the GC, but got two friends in the deal :D
I'm going to get to meet Denise in Oct at a meet up and hopefully someday, I'll be able to meet Connie too. In the meantime, I hope she and I stay in touch. She's become very near and dear to my :love: heart.

Tammy! This thread has made my day and given me such a lift...and smiles when I viewed the pictures of your little darlings! How cute are they and they both look adorable in their new dresses! It has been so much fun getting to know you and you have also become very near and dear to my heart! You are always like a breath of fresh air...so very sweet! Congratulations on winning, what a great prize, I think it's so neat you were able to dress them alike, how cute it that? I absolutely love the fabric you choose, it's just beautiful, and you girls make perfect models.
