Looky, Looky at our UYR raffle prize! 4 Attachment(s) Oh gosh, we're so excited! We won the prize that Denise donated, which was a $30 gift certificate to Connie's Creations! Connie had just recently lost her beloved nephew Rich when the drawing was held, so I talked to Denise and decided to wait a while before I contacted her. Connie and Denise are two of the sweetest people! And not only am I happy to have won such a beautiful prize, I'm thrilled to have met two such wonderful people. Connie was an absolute joy to work with on picking out the fabric for the girl's dresses. Oh my goodness did I ever have a hard time deciding :confused: It wouldn't have matter what I chose, Connie does such beautiful work, they're all great! While talking back and forth with Connie, I got to see what a very special lady she is and my heart goes out to her and her family for thier tragic loss. Even though she was going through such a terrible time, she made time for me and my babies and for that I am grateful. Not only did she make the dresses, she added some extra surprises to our package! I will post pictures of everything. She even made the beautiful matching bows and wouldn't let me pay her for them. I tell ya, I couldn't have gotten a better prize from two better ladies! I feel like I not only won the GC, but got two friends in the deal :D I'm going to get to meet Denise in Oct at a meet up and hopefully someday, I'll be able to meet Connie too. In the meantime, I hope she and I stay in touch. She's become very near and dear to my :love: heart. Again a HUGE THANK YOU to CONNIE and DENISE! Tammy! This thread has made my day and given me such a lift...and smiles when I viewed the pictures of your little darlings! How cute are they and they both look adorable in their new dresses! It has been so much fun getting to know you and you have also become very near and dear to my heart! You are always like a breath of fresh air...so very sweet! Thanks for sending me the link. You are right, I didnt see it. The girls look adorable and Connie I love that material and you did a beautiful job. You too are one of the sweetest people I've ever met and I'm glad to have met a special friend also. I can't wait to meet you and the girls in person in October. We are going to have sooo much fun! Oh good Denise, I'm so glad you finally got to see the girls in their dresses! Thank You so much! I just love them! This whole experience has been nothing but pleasant :) I can't wait to meet you either! I think I'm going to forgo the class reunion so I can come to Indy! Wow, they are beautiful Dear Tammy, Your girls look absolutely stunning in Connie's Creations, she does such beautiful work, thank you so much for sharing with us the pictures. What love from the yorkie family here for such a great cause and with Denise donating them and you were sure a winner to get dress's made by Connie. Connie is such a very dear friend to Jack and Myself we feel so blessed to have found yorkie talk and we love Connie she is such a wonderful lady, and our friend, never met in person but feel like we have known each other forever. Am sure there are others that have been blessed with this friendship with Connie and with other folks here too at Yorkie Talk. I use to sew a lot, and I must say I don't know how Connie can sew and sell the most beautiful dress's at such reasonable prices. Having sewn in years passed I know the time she puts in to making each, you can tell they are made with lots of extra tlc and love :) Oh my gosh, for instance when I was in Jo Ann's a week ago, and had to bring the attention to the manager how they are increasing the price of fabrics and everything. I went back to purchase a couple panels which sold for $14.99 and now are $19.99............. :( I did notice they have increased many of the fabrics. Tammy on your meet in October with Denise, please give her a hug for Jack, myself and yes Connie. We all love Denise and please tell her that Prairie Bea is still the little spit fire that she so nik named her :) thanks to the love she and her girls shared in getting her off to a good start :) with those visits to Jill's :D I just came on for a bit, it has been awhile since getting on computer and not being able to use it much but I couldn't help but say congradulations on winning those beautiful creations of Connie's, your girls are lovely models. When I am able to get back to using the computer again I shall look forward to keeping updated on your threads. God's Blessings to you and your family and your darling furbabies.
