YAY FOR YOU AND PEBBLES!!!! I am so glad you went back and had a better week! And I'll bet you feeling better made it more fun for Pebbles too. After your first class, I told you about our teacher, Jane. She told me about 2 yorkies who were in the puppy kindergarted session right before Roxy went to class. I guess those 2 were so naughty that the couple taking them had horrible fights about who would work with whom! After about 3 weeks, Jane started making comments on a regular basis about how nice Roxy was - even with her ADHD she is still one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met!! :p Keep up the good work with her!! |
You really have a nice yorkie there:rolleyes: Yes, you do she is the same yorkie that was in class last week in the cute little outfit looking adorable;) Good for you for going back and not letting them get you down. Next time you go think about YT like the Verizion commercial. You & Pebbles and everyone here standing behind you for support.:p |
I think Pebbles is adorable, and I'm glad the second class went much better. She is the star student for sure! I owned a bullmastiff for several years who was babied just as Rory is. My parents would give me a hard time about dressing him (all 135 pounds) up. I admit his clothes were a bit more functional than a lot of Rory's clothes - generally coats, rain slickers, a few tees, etc. Well one day while visiting my parents I ran out for a bit and I came home to see that he had is coat on and I asked my mom what happened. She said she never believed me until now but he was outside using the restroom and he started shivering! I had a big fat "TOLD YA SO" in my head. If the dog doesn't mind the clothes, then why does it bother total strangers so much? That I'll never understand. Point being, from a former big dog owner, don't let the idiots get you down! |
aww, that is so rude.everytime i take Leo for a walk i get stupid questions such as: "is that a rat dog"? "what kind of dog is that"? its really annoying and rude of people to do that I just ignore it but sometimes it gets so rude to the point where i will just answer the question and move on Or just say something in german so they dont understand lol |
Anyone that would have said what they said to you ... I'd look them square in the eyes and say.. If I wanted your opinion I'd of asked for it.. Then smile and see what they say.?? Your opinion is the only one that matters here.. If you want to dress your dog I think that's fine... I just saw in the news that these type of people want to stop bird watching... UGh as it's invading the privacy of birds!!!!! |
Aww so glad that things are getting better, but you shouldn't stop dressing her up just because of them;):aimeeyork:thumbup: |

I hope you get over your bug soon, if it were me, and she didn't get all her practice time in, I'd probably leave her undressed, than when she was at the top of her game, I'd dress her in her cutest couture. Of course, I love irritating people. :D They gave Joey a rough time too, and he was nekid, but he showed them, Yorkies are smart! |

OMGosh.........what kind of a training class was this? I think they're just jealous because Pebbles is a cutie pie! |
How did class go this week? |
Awwww that is NOT good at ALL! I think sometimes if people don't know what is going on.....they should just keep their opinions to themselves; especially if they are NOT nice ones! As far as her being dressed? I love dressing Bailey......my Baxter won't do it so my Bailey is my lil fashion model :). She dresses for bed and for the day :). I think the lil dresses are adoreable in every way :) |
