Anyone have a Morkie?
 
Hey how many of you guys have morkies? I want to see pics of them! I have a 8 wk old morkie named Bentley he is sooo cute!! I'm curious what others look like!

Im trying to post pics but it wont upload them for some reason ill post and try to go back and edit it!

How large (or small - whichever way you look at it) do you think a Morkie will get?

All depends on the parents! His Mom was about 4-5lbs and the dad was about the same! So I'm guessing he will weigh about that also! He has very short legs so i think he will long smaller than that though!

There are Morkies and Yorktese's. The way I understand it is if the mother was the yokrie it is a yorktese. If the father was the yorkie it is a Morkie. Is that right, or did I reverse it? There are very popular mix right now and your is adorable from the pics i've seen. Can't wait to see him in person! This weekend right? San Diego Yorkie Meetup?

We have a Morkie named Stormy - she is a sweetheart. She will be six months in a couple of weeks & weighed 4 lbs at the vet this week. Kodah her Yorkie sister is almost 7 months & weighs 2 lbs. They look almost the same size in their picture together but Stormy is 2 lbs heavier than Kodah. In our research we basically found three colors - mostly black, apricot (blonde) & tri-color - what color is your Bentley? Can't wait to see pictures!

He is yorkie colors.. black and tan. It wont let me post pics for some reason Im getting ANGRY!!! lol it says uploading but never uploads.

There are Morkies and Yorktese's. The way I understand it is if the mother was the yokrie it is a yorktese. If the father was the yorkie it is a Morkie. Is that right, or did I reverse it?

Kim, that is the way I understand it, too. However, our breeder called all of hers "Yorktese" because she didn't like the sound of Morkie :rolleyes: . Stormy is a Morkie (which I think is a cute name for the mix) - her mother was a Maltese and father a Yorkie.

Does it say that they are too large? You might need to resize in order for them to post.

Pmoore's Morkie is SOO cute I must say, she showed me a picture and he's the most cutest Morkie I've ever seen! a sweet face!

Although Rachel's Stormy (which I think is sooo adorable!) and My Oreo used to Look alike, My little guy always gets mixed up for being a Morkie/Yorktese.. but actually he's a Porkie! (pomeranian/Yorkie)..

here is my little Oreo (see the resemblence(sp?) to Rachel's cute Stormy? they are both Black & White)

It worked!! Yay! Your little Morkie boy is soooo cute! I love his little face and coloring. I will be fun to watch him grow and see what he looks like full grown. Congratulations on your new baby, he is a doll.

How about a Dorkie or a Chorkie? A friends yorkie got out and met up with a neighborhood dachsond. I have another friend with a chiuha who wants to mate her with my Pogo! :(

OMG...let me just say that it is such a cute mix! Before I purchased Stomper, I was considering a yorkie/maltese mix. I remember there was a really nice lady in Washington State that was getting ready to sell some. You can probably find some pictures by going on Yahoo and searching yorkie/maltese puppies. They look like little cotton balls!

Thanks! Yeah I have looked but I have never seen one with coloring like Bentley! I want to see them as adults also!!

You know...the more I see and learn about these beautiful Morkies owned by members here on YT the more I want one!! I know many do not condone purposely mixing breeds but they are just too cute and the dispositions of the pups that I have read about has got me to thinking. I do want my Yorkie girl in the near future but know I could EASILY fall head-over-heels for a Morkie if they are anything like the ones here on YT. Beautiful babies you guys have :p

I think this is an adorable mix!!!! If I found a reasonably priced one in my area I would most definetly buy it! Your babies are all sooo cute!
