| hair cut question How long or short do you leave the hair when you groom your furkids? Rusty has never really had a hair cut, except above the eyes, and he is almost 11 months old. I'm not really sure he needs one now cause his hair has never really grown much but I would like to trim it up a bit cause it looks kinda scruffy. Am just not really sure what a good length is for a good puppy cut. Thanks Dar & Rusty |

| Mine are all in full coat, but I like the puppy cuts. it all depends on how much time you want to spend grooming them. |

| I shave the body and keep the hair long on the legs, face, head and tail. Shaving between the eyes, above the nose. Can't stand hair in Buddy's face or mouth area. Drives me up the wall. |

| We usually go for the "puppy cut", you can trim the head or leave it long. I think it is strickly a personal choice on how you like your pets hair.

| We keep Selah's hair pretty long, but occassionally trim it back out of her face. That being said, we did get her full body cut pretty short once her puppy coat had broken since it was matting pretty badly. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I cut most of mine at 9 months to get rid of puppy hair then let them grow. My boy Teddy has the short cut all the time.

| I got Bella a puppy cut at 10 months old for the summer. Had her face short and squared, left enough on top for a bow. She looked absolutely adorable and cool. But I think she felt naked because she came home from the groomers and hid out for a few hours. Until we all told her how cute she looked. I will grow her out this winter and see how she does. I just hate the long hair around her face it always gets food and water on it. No matter what she is just a cutey. |

| I Cut Harvey's Hair Myself, And Personally Like The Shorter Puppy Cut, Both For Practical Reasons And I Think It Is So Cute..... I Cut His Head Square, trim Around His Eyes, And Generally Trim Him All Over. He Doesn't Look Ready For Crufts Any Time Soon!, But I Like Him Scruffy And Fluffy..............
