I am just looking for an opinion...if okay? I make all of Cora's bows and people tell me they are cute and I should sell them but I am not really sure if they are just being nice. I am not looking to sell anything on this site right now, I am just looking for an HONEST opinion. If I attach a few pics, would you guys let me know what you think? Is that okay to do here? |
YES .... send them .... |
Post them!! :) |
Here are a few...PLZ HONEST!!!! 4 Attachment(s) Please, please, please be honest. I don't want to waste the time or money if they will not really sell. |
Those are beautiful...I would buy them if you were selling them. |
A few more 4 Attachment(s) Here are a few more. |
Really??? Do you think that $3.00 is an okay price? |
OMG ... there so cute ..... love them ..... I would buy some of them ...... ... good Job ... |
Where do I send my money?! hahahah I love them, and would definately buy them. Please let me know if you decide to do so!! |
Don't sell yourself short - those are really cute. I like the purple ones. I've paid $6 for cute bows in stores that probably took a lot less work than that. What kind of clips do they have? |

Your bows are very pretty. Are they attached to barrettes or rubbers? I like the little emblemishments you used on them, very cute:thumbup: |

$3.00 is an excellent price...I normally pay $3.50 and up for a bow. How are the put together? Are they glued or sewn?? Can you put barrett clips on them or do you just use rubber bands? My only other question would be how sturdy are they...my little boy is not the gentlest man around and If I have on of those in my girl, could he tear it up easy? |
WOW, thank you!! Okay, I guess people were being honest. I really appreciate it. I just want to make sure that $3.00 is okay and maybe 2 for $5.00. Do you guys think that is okay? They are all handsewn and the band on the back is that nice elastic kind. I was thinking of including a few extra bands in case for some reason the one sewn on got broken. Let me send a pic of the back so you guys can see what I mean. |
Can you do them in barrets instead of bands...some of us use those instead. |
back view 1 Attachment(s) Here is the back. I found these bands to be the best that I have used unless anyone knows of ones that are better? |
Yours are very cute bows they are different from the other bows I have seen on here and elsewhere Ebay would be a good place to sell them also |

I like the first and the last one in the 1. row of pic's and the first and last in the 2. row of pic's ...... |
1 Attachment(s) I think I could do barrettes, I will have to see how much the base for those would be but thats a good idea. Here is a pic of the back. |
Your bows are really pretty, and I love the colors you've chosen, I agree with Chachi, e-bay would be a great place. I do think the bands you are using look a little big, I think the 1/4 inch size is a good size, and like when people add two bands. Here's a site that offers bands and shows the difference between sizes. Good luck with this project! Latex bands for dog bows |
Let me know if you can do them with barrets and I will get some. I love them and they are so cute. Can you custom make them to match some of the outfits that I have? |
With that kind of band do they stay in your babies hair good? I use those tiny little rubber bands for little girl's hair and I don't have any problems with those staying in my girl's hair. I LOVE your bows!!!! You're going to be very busy ;) |
Oh wow, those are REALLLY pretty, you did a beautiful job on those!! |
Wow!!! I just want you all to know how much I appreciate the responses. I am going to check into a few of the suggestions now on the barrettes and the different types of bands. I really like the bands they are on now cause they stretch real easy and don't tend to rip out her hair or get caught up but the double band idea is a good one which I do understand and that I could definately do for the same price. I was thinking of just using Craigs List only because there is no fee and it's so easy. There would be no shipping charges that way either. Let me see what I can come up with and I will let you guys know in a little bit. AGAIN, THANK YOU ALL!!!!!! I have been out of work for 4 months due to a back injury. It would be so nice to feel useful again. |
I would buy if they have metal clips in stead of rubber band let me know |
Barrettes I found the barrettes and they really would not add any cost to the bows, the only issue may be shipping them so they dont break, that is where the cost may come in. I am guessing that I could send them USPS for like 75 cents so they don't get broken. I think that would cover the pkg. |
Very pretty! Years ago my sister and I did craft shows and sold bows. Make sure you are taking into consideration YOUR TIME and not just the material. Looks like you have a boomin business already! |
My baby would freak OUT if i put a bow in her hair but I think they are very pretty.. I love the metal heart in the middle... very original. I def. think you should sell for more than 3 bucks though... Ive seen bows like that from 3.50-5.00. |

Holy Cow!!! So much for shipping charges, geesh. Isn't there a better way, that is crazy. What if I don't send them first class, does that make a difference? |
