How good could it really be if they can't........
 
spell tartar correctly? :confused:

So I'm sitting here and I just got out a new bottle of Petzlife. Mikey picks it up to read the back of it and starts laughing. I'm looking at him like he's nuts and he tells me about tartar not being spelled correctly. This is a big bottle and I thought maybe it was a goof. I checked the smaller bottle I just threw in the trash and its also spelled wrong.

I thought maybe Mikey and I were both wrong. :cool: I checked our tube of toothpaste and sure enough we were NOT wrong. Petzlide spells it tater instead of tartar. So how good could this product be if they can't spell tartar correctly?

Where did you buy it, I wonder if it's counterfeit, that's usually the biggest give-away of counterfeit products. We have the spray and the gel, and it's correctly spelled on both.

I just scanned it, and you can see on both it's spelled correctly.

We bought the big bottle from Petedge but the spray and smaller bottle came directly from their actual site. PetzLife Products Inc - Products For a Healthier Pet

I had no idea places were ripping people off. :thumbdown However, I bought from the main place and I never thought Petedge would be bad to buy from. :confused:

My bottles are differen't in the front. They are similar but still a little differen't. I don't even have tartar written big on the front of the bottle. They have it on the side more. I'm so confused now and I don't feel safe using either.

Hey Jenn, whoops on my part. They spelled it tarter instead of tartar. I just realized I typed tater. :cool:

Ya, I'm not sure I would want to use it either. I'm kind of wondering if it isn't Petzlife, then what's in there? Maybe smell it? :p

You could take a picture of it and send it to the Petzlife company, and tell them where you purchased it. Petedge is a big company, but maybe one of their suppliers is a crook, who knows. If it's a legitimate spelling error, you'll probably get a few free bottles. I took some pictures. I truly hope this is just a mistake because now I'm worried about what I've been putting in their mouths. :(

I'm definately sending both places an email. I'm not sure if i should use this big bottle or not. The smaller one came directly from the main place, so I hope it was okay. The bottle is empty anyways but this other one is brand new. :cool: I truly hope it was just a mistake but I'm definately concerned now.

I would be worried, just check with the company, it could be a printing error, and nothing more. I wouldn't use it until I found out for sure. Keep the smaller bottle that you were going to through away too. They might want you to send everything in.

Wow Dena - thats so weird! I've never even seen it in a red bottle before. I'd be concerned too. I used to use it however mine hated it and I never seen a difference, so I'm using Cool & Clear Dental Care and I like that way better now.

I wonder what they are going to say!

I just checked the bottle of gel petzlife that I have and it spelled correctly.
I have a feeling it is a printing error. Definitely contact Petzlife.

I just sent an email right now. I hope they get back to me soon. I'm not using it until then. I'm just glad Mikey noticed it.

That is so strange, hopefully it was just a printing error.I would be worried too about giving it to my babies!

Wow thats horrible. One the bottle I have it's spelled correctly and looks just like the bottle Nancy posted. Good thing your df was being a goof and wanted to see the bottles! :D I really hope it's just a mistake and nothing serious! Keep us updated on this! I hope others who buy theirs from Petedge checkout this post.

I have a bottle of the gel and it is spelled correctly and looks like the pic that Nancy posted. Keep us posted and let us know what you find out.

I have the spray and the gel and both are spelled correctly. I bought mine from ebay. I dont think it works that good though. I was hopeing it would keep me from having to have their teeth professionally cleaned but didnt, so i had to have my two oldest put under and professionally cleaned. I hated to have to do that. It took my smallest hours to come completely out of the anesthesia. I was getting kinda worried but thank God he came out of it and was ok.

oh and one more thing i was thinking.. maybe they sold it to petedge at a discounted price-cuz the only wrong with it was the misprinted item!? (hoping no one would notice? and if so they would tell them it was a printing mistake!?) dont know.. just a thought! keep us posted! ;)

I have the spray and it's spelled correctly. My dogs hate the stuff and I have a bad time using it. I don't think I'll get any more of it.

That is really strange because my bottle of PetzLife has Tartar spelled correctly on the front of the bottle.....

OMG Dina! How strange. Sure makes you wonder about the integrity of the product.

I have a bottle of the spray and it is spelled correctly. The spray I have smells just like Scope mouthwash. The first 2 ingredients are distilled water and grain alcohol. My 2 hate it so I've stopped using it.

Dina - I remember reading a post about it being on sale and I bought a bottle too!! And it says 'tarter'!!!!!! It's in a clear bottle and the gel is pinkish-red.
I'm attaching a picture. I'll be in touch with you later. I'm glad Mikey noticed!
