It's ALWAYS smart to check - that was a good pick up on the miss-spelling I had a really bad experience with eyedrops I bought after my husband died last year - they were OVER THE COUNTER drops from either Walgreens or Kroger -- I used them alot and had dialated eyes for months not knowing why - turns out - someone had accidentally stocked the regular shelves with PRESCRIPTION eye drops. What I was using were drops they put in peoples eyes BEFORE SURGERY ! They damaged my eyesite. so please everyone - ALWAYS read your bottles no matter where you buy stuff |
Mine is spelled right also ! |
I have some but my bottle (spray) doesn't have the word tartar on it anyplace. Mine hate it too, and I can't get near them with the bottle. If they see it in my hand they are gone. It is kinda expensive to have just sitting here. My ingredients say: Distilled water, grapefruit seed extract, propietary blend of herbs, fermented corn distillate. Is this the correct ingredents? |

I'm interested to see what the company says about all this. I was thinking misprint but if the ingredients differ thats just crazy. I assume that Petedge drop ships these through somewhere, sounds fishy. |

I'm very sorry to hear your eye sight was damaged! How horrible! No telling how many people were affected by this mistake. I have never sued anyone in my life, but in your case, I think I might be tempted to contact a lawyer since your eyes were damaged from this mistake. This bottle of PetzLife sounds like a fake to me. It's so good you caught the misspelling. I am curious to hear what the company says about it. Has anyone here seen the segment on 60 Minutes on fake drugs from China? It was awful. People died over these fake drugs, and even the pharmacists buying/selling them had no idea they were fake, and couldn't tell the difference between them and the real drugs. It took company chemists to tell the difference. Some of the ingredients being used in the fake drugs were drywall plaster and the yellow paint that is used to paint lines on the highway. Oftentimes fake drugs/products will have misspelled words or use incorrect grammar on the packaging. Please come back and let us know what the company says about your bottle of PetzLife . |
My bottle has the correct spelling and I bought the set (spray and gel) from a YT member store. (I believe). I have never seen the spray in a large red bottle like that!! |

I have a bottle of the spray and everything is spelled correctly on it. That certainly is interesting. You will have to let us know what the company says about it. |
Sorry for the double post. I'm new and didn't realize the webmaster had to approve my post, so I kept hitting submit. |
Petzlife Update : ) Hi everyone, I just got an email from Petzlife. :D "Hi Dina, Yes on our old lables we accidently misspelled tartar, whoops! I have attached a picture of our current new labeled gel with the correct spelling. Thanks for letting us know! Andrew Groth PetzLife Products Inc. 763-477-0062 Fax: 763-477-0063 www.PetzLife.com" I feel so much better now!!! :D I'm sorry if I scared anyone but this really did have me concerned. I'm glad it was mistake. :) |
I'm glad they responded. They probably had a new company do the label printing and someone didn't proof it! Now you know it's ok to use! |
I have started to question Petzlife because, while it works for some, the first ingredient besides water is grain alcohol. This is used in medications, flavorings, etc., but it is so high on the ingredient list. Petzlife has never had a problem with it but I think there are better products out there. When they mentioned "old" bottles, how long ago did you purchase this? I bought mine well over a year ago, and it had the "new" label. The bottles have an expiration date on them, and it would be best to check this. |
