ok so freezing them it is AND in a ziplock bag. that was so disgustingggggggg. abby n jack were tilting their head and looking at me like "wat r u doin mommy, why u stomping on the ground" i think the store by my job has the 12" for i think $5? thats nuts. im gonna see if i get them somewhere else. but OH YEAAAA they stink. but once i see how much abby loves it i dont really care. hopefully jack will like them too (we only got him last saturday)

Ok, i thought bully sticks were "dried bull peepees"... but I went to Erin's website and the description says they are dried tendons. So...what exactly are all these "dried" things, for sure?

I bet the PetCo one was Redbarn... those do stink!

$5 for a 12" bully stick is about right, unless you are buying in bulk. I won't get into it but there is an ongoing bully stick shortage so suppliers are having a hard time keeping them in stock!

They are.. but the ingredient list is "tendon" so I'm sticking with that... I figured the correct terminology might draw the wrong type of traffic to my site! :)

I actually asked one of the vendors about the label/ingredients(tendon) at the last trade show and his exact words were (very loudly!), "What are we doing to put, 'Bull Dick'?" I was so embarrassed... people were staring.. luckily at him not me but still!

I don't have them at my desk with me... I can't remember the brand...oh well...if they stink and he likes them...I'll just let the little booger be happy, LOL :rolleyes:

mine r the Merricks ones. they keep her busy for a longggggggggg time thoooooo. they r stinky but she loves them so watever.... yes they r bull penis :eek:

Ohhhh I see now...I guess tendon is a more appropriate word...however, I bought them even thought I knew what they really were just because I've heard everyone rave about how much their dogs love them. I'm a brave consumer, lmaoooo...too funny...teehee :p :p :p

Mine don't smell too bad. I get mine on eBay from eddieb260. A gigantic bag like THIS ONE for $22 - last me forever.

Those say they are steer sticks though and they look like steer sticks. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but they don't last as long and tend to be a bit smellier. :)

Maybe I'll add "Pizzle" to my descriptions... that way people can just google it if they don't know what it means. :D
