OK..not my little yorkie, but her big sis who is an Aussie. Izzy not only dislike the vacuum when it's running but also if it's just sitting there. Makes a great training tool. When I was potting training her I would put the vacuum there to deter her...worked like a charm. I know...I'm a mean mommy!!!:D:D

haha. Avery KNOWS when i am getting ready, that means i have to leave!! she doesn't like it either!! :( :thumbdown (..except the times i can bring her with me.. then she snaps out of it REAL QUICK! ;) :p)



Avery is also afraid of loud motorcycles, trucks, etc. that go by when we are on a walk! (but i don't blame her.. they are so loud!!:rolleyes:)

She will sometimes get scared if i have a couple huge plastic or paper bags full of stuff that make lots of noise.. cuz they are usually by my side.. and RIGHT at her level!! :cool:

oh my gosh.. that is a crack up!! :p

isn't it funny.. how a random commercial will strike their attention! :D Avie is the same way.. she doesn't get scared of any commercials but if there is a certain sound or noise on TV she will totally watch and do the famous yorkie head tilt, we all love so much! :p she loves the sound of babies and little kids!! and the random dog on tv will get her attention at times! ;) (but how funny to hear your baby will get scared of a certain commercial.. how adorable! ;))

Chachi is fearless. Jewels is afraid of the tape measure of all things. Shes also afraid of loud noises and changes, sometimes the vacuum also

Moses is afraid of the chair in my sunroom, the full garbage bag when we're taking out the trash, vacuum cleaner, and fans. :p

other than that, he's fearless. definitely not scared of other dogs, even if they're much larger than he is. :rolleyes:

Lexi is afraid of trash bags. When we have to put a new one in the trash can, she runs for the hills! And ALL of the dogs are afraid of Trixie--she's the boss around these parts. :p

Mingtoy is not afraid of very much . Last weekend at dogshow , she jumped on the back of a Mastiff .

Bailey is such a wuss.

1. This morning during our morning walk, we came upon a traffic cone that had turned over. I had to pick her up to walk past it.

2. When I drink a small bottle of orange juice, she is afraid of the cap.:rolleyes:

3. Any loud noise - car backfire, fireworks, thunder - I have a video game that has thunder in the background. I have to turn off the sound so she won't run and hide.

4. If it is really windy outside and I take her out to do her business, she tries to run away from the wind and keeps checking her butt to see if its still there :)

Sammy is afraid of everything! When he was a baby he was afraid of walking next to a parked car. now boxes, anything strange in the house that moves, laundry, he smells it and if it moves he runs away. its so funny to watch. There were leaves in the yard the other day and he ran away from those! hehe

Two thinks;
1. The storm drains out in the street. For whatever thought in his head
he will walk out into the street and go around them to avoid them.
This has been going on since day one.
2. The heating element in the kitchen.
As a pup I think he backed up into it or stuck his nose next to it and
got burnt because for 4yrs he will also walk around that side of the wall.
If one of his toys is sitting next to it he will come get me to get it for him.
Big dingy that he is:p

He is afraid of: balloons, thunder, vacuum, fireworks, (any loud noises), and smoke or grease smell (I don't know, something about my cooking)! hee,hee :biggrin:

LilyGrace is my fearless one....she really isn't afraid of anything!!! She has to check out everything...the vacuum...anytime I am in the kitchen she is there (thinking she will get food), etc.

Mine isn't afraid of the vacuum when it's on, but when it's off and just sitting there she will slink away, scared.

I think she is scared of the blender, too. And crowds of people when she is on her walk.
