Pepper is afraid of the vacuum while it is running. But not when it is just sitting there. Even managed to scrape up enough courage to chew the cord one day. :eek: He is also afraid of thunder if we are outside on the porch, but not if we are in the house. :) |
Ahhhh. Thanks for all the replies. This is a fun thread. Some of this makes sense, like the smoke and loud noises. Very odd about little Shyasha afraid to go out in the daylight. I wonder if her eyes are really sensitive to light? Anyway, it's fun to hear all the silly things our Yorkies are afraid of. |
Kaylah is afraid of plastic bags. Watching her trying to attack the bags is hilarious...my mom used to chase her with bags playing, so I think that's where the fear came from. She hates the noise they make and runs every time I come home from shopping. She's also afraid of fireworks...she hates the loud noise. |
They are afraid of the broom when i sweep, i think London is afraid of babies lol We put her near my niece and she tried to run away, i don't think she's seen anyone that small before. Sophie is scared of a lot of things, she's been like that since day 1. Teddy is scared of farting noises, when my bf makes them with his mouth..and a few other things but i cant quite remember right now. |

Lexilyn's afraid of the windshield wipers in the truck. We drive as long as we can in the rain before we're forced to turn them on. She puts her head down and hides her face. Don't know why. With everything else, she's the worlds largest dog! |

Sassy's fears: Plastic and paper bags Vacuum Cleaner Broom Mop Fly Swatter Fire works and all other Loud noises She has never heard thunder. :( I love storms. We rarely have them here. She is not fearful of the blowdryer or the Wahl and she LOVES a bath and being brushed! :) |

Phoebe is not afraid of anything. She is 3lbs of pure craziness. She has no idea how small she is. Zeus is scared of his own reflection. He barks and barks like crazy. |
I haven't found anything that they are afraid of. Daisy will look a little nervous when she first hears a new sound but once she sees that it is OK she isn't afraid of it anymore. |

Sebastian is afraid of the mailbox. It is soooo strange!!! When I carry him out to get the mail, he tries to climb up my shoulder to get away from the mailbox. I have no idea why it scares him- he is absolutely terrified. He is not afraid of the hair dryer or the vacuum, just the mailbox! I guess my mailman is safe!!! :) |

Moses is afraid of the chair in my sunroom, the full garbage bag when we're taking out the trash, vacuum cleaner, and fans. :p other than that, he's fearless. definitely not scared of other dogs, even if they're much larger than he is. :rolleyes: |
Lexi is afraid of trash bags. When we have to put a new one in the trash can, she runs for the hills! And ALL of the dogs are afraid of Trixie--she's the boss around these parts. :p |

Bailey is such a wuss. 1. This morning during our morning walk, we came upon a traffic cone that had turned over. I had to pick her up to walk past it. 2. When I drink a small bottle of orange juice, she is afraid of the cap.:rolleyes: 3. Any loud noise - car backfire, fireworks, thunder - I have a video game that has thunder in the background. I have to turn off the sound so she won't run and hide. 4. If it is really windy outside and I take her out to do her business, she tries to run away from the wind and keeps checking her butt to see if its still there :) |

When he was a baby he was afraid of walking next to a parked car. now boxes, anything strange in the house that moves, laundry, he smells it and if it moves he runs away. its so funny to watch. There were leaves in the yard the other day and he ran away from those! hehe |

Two thinks; 1. The storm drains out in the street. For whatever thought in his head he will walk out into the street and go around them to avoid them. This has been going on since day one. 2. The heating element in the kitchen. As a pup I think he backed up into it or stuck his nose next to it and got burnt because for 4yrs he will also walk around that side of the wall. If one of his toys is sitting next to it he will come get me to get it for him. Big dingy that he is:p |
Mojo is my little baby:biggrin: He is afraid of: balloons, thunder, vacuum, fireworks, (any loud noises), and smoke or grease smell (I don't know, something about my cooking)! hee,hee :biggrin: LilyGrace is my fearless one....she really isn't afraid of anything!!! She has to check out everything...the vacuum...anytime I am in the kitchen she is there (thinking she will get food), etc. |
