Just for fun thread So we all love our yorkies TO DEATH!!! And they can do no wrong, but lets do something different. Let's post about things that our babies do that annoy or frustrate us. Something that your baby does that's a major pet pieve.. For me, my biggest pet pieve is when Coco decides to pee on my comforter if it's on the ground, even though she is totally potty trained. Even if there is a pad near by, she chooses the comforter for some reason. |
With Teddy he had a phase where he went around my the house looking for pens and pencils to chew up. Tiny has a bad habbit of testing my command. Example: If I said "Come" and he doesn't want to, he will looks at me for a second and then walks the other direction. I usually have to scream "Tiny, get your little butt over here" before he would obey. |
 Mason is 9 weeks old and tolerates his carrier but if i leave to go to the store or anywhere and put him in his carrier or in a small area with a babygate he makes sure he poops and gets in it all to spread around.....and its all in his fur. The poor thing has had alot of baths for only being 9 weeks old . That drives me CRAZY!!!! Thanks Kristy and Mason |
I don't like when Codie eats his crunchy cookies on my lap because crumbs get all over me. I also don't like when he steals Katie's treats and then she come crying over to me - poor Katie. :( hee hee I don't like when Katie runs away when she's not on a leash. She is not AT ALL obedient when she's off her leash. I never allow Codie and Katie outside without wearing their harness/leash but the few times that Katie did slip through the door, she was off and running. |
Oh and another thing....I HATE it when I say "Coco come" and I know she knows the command, and she will sit down and stare at me, as if to say "And what do you think you're going to do about it, if I don't" |
Pixie LOVES to shred the pee pad whenever I am not home. I'm not sure what started her on this habit but I just know that as soon as I get home I'm going to find a snow drift of pee pad bits all over the place and a wet floor. That's probably her worst habit. Tuffy gives me major attitude sometimes.. he just refuses to listen.. it's like he's a teenage boy. :p I know he's smart as a whip so it's always frustrating when he does something naughty because it's like he does it out of spite just to be a pill. ;) |
Esme is completely potty trained EVERYWHERE except my moms house! When she gets there she seems to think it doesn't matter where she pees!!! It's awful because I always tell my mom how great she is at home, then I take her there, where she pees on every rug she steps on and my mom doesn't believe she could ever behave anywhere! I can't blame it COMPLETELY on Esme though. My mom has two poms who I am sure have left their sent around which is what makes Esme want to pee there, but still, she KNOWS BETTER... or she should anyways. She embarrases me. I get very upset when she can't patiently wait for all the poo to fall out of her bottom before she is running to come show me what she did. She gets most of it on the pad, and then one or two little pieces leaving a trail behind her! Ugh! I love her to pieces though and I WOULDN'T trade her for anything in the world! |
Hey guys, this is kind of theraputic..haha..LETS VENT!! |
Takes off running and won't come. Does this more with my husband than me. i think he thinks it's a game because my husband will chase him. He back talks when i tell him no. I'll say no and then he does this little half bark and then i have to tell him no again and raise my voice and he finally quits. |
I hate it when my dogs shred toilet paper. We put it up but they still get it out of the waste paper basket. They make such a mess! |
Hmmmm....I can't TOUCH laundry in the afternoon because Chanel associates laundry with her towels.... which she associates with playing in the hose cause we play at around 3 pm when it was springtime. IF I touch one - I HAVE to let her play in the hose or I don't hear the end of it. She literally follows me around monkey-talking me...I cave and am outside AGAIN ...letting her have a blast ...while I sweat in the sun. She does NOT give up if I touch a towel. So unless I want to be out in the afternoon heat of 100 deg plus - I DO NOT TOUCH laundry in the afternoon. |
When playing fetch, Lucy suddenly decides she doesn't want to bring back her frisbee. She is halfway accross the park from me and promptly rolls in the nearest duck poo before I have finished my sprint to grab her. Lucy gets A LOT of baths! |
Speaking of laundry......I hate when I take a load out of the dryer, set it on the couch for folding, go to move the clothes from the washer to the dryer, only to come back and find my Romeo has scratched around and made himself a bed on my nice clean clothes!! It can be socks, towels, whatever, if its clean, he lays on it!! |
Oh there is such a list of things but I will only list a few... (1) Bruce will get into my purse if I turn my head for one second, and almost exclusivly chew up money from inside my wallet!!! He never goes for the ones either it is always straight to the $20s (2) Bruce tricked me into believing he was potty trained, but it turns out he just will not go anywhere that it is a hard surface because he is afraid of getting pee on his paws. Otherwise he will pee on carpet (he is getting better though) I just never realized because I have hardwood floors in Seattle and my mother did not want to hurt my feelings so she never told me he peed everywhere! (3) He will crawl inside my clothing if I am asleep! (4) His little man complex and the way he tries to take on big dogs |
Callie will drag clothes out of a basket and run all over the house with whatever she decides she wants to chew up...and she will unfold my laundry as soon as I can get it folded. She's doing it right now as a matter of fact! Love the way the hubby puppy sits!! |
Oh yea, and stealing g strings and underwear, very frustrating. Especially when there are guests at home  |
Hefner just started chewing on anything rattan and he is teaching Ava to do it too. Hefner will also get fixated on a human dish on the counter because he is convinced it has food in it that is for his treat and he will bark until he gets a treat. Chai is soooo fast that she follows right behind me and before I give the "stay" command she will zip by me out the door. |
I forgot to add that I am tired of tripping over my shoelaces because she sits under my comp desk and unties my shoes...if she can't get them untied she attaches to them and I drag her all over the house attached to my feet...it is kinda cute though! |
Hmmmmmm......Tiah doesn't get into the laundry whether it is dirty or clean, she doesnt need a leash outside and comes every time I call her, only plays with her toys out of the basket, ummmm, I guess the thing that she does do that irritates me is half my fault....I can't seem to trim a dog nail without turning it into a lethal weapon....so, my pieve would be how she turns that lethal weapon on me and leaves welts sometimes when she is up and down, up and down from my lap CONSTANTLY. Also, If I happen to want a snack while sitting on the couch, she automatically turns into a Yorkie Shawl. It would be cute, but she uses the lethal weapon I trimmed on my collar bone to hold herself in place (while sitting on my hair and pulling it at the same time). (LOL) |
One of my biggest pet peeves is when I forget to close my closet door it, and it has all my dirty clothes in it. Deegan will drag my clothes out one by one and string them them all through the house. It it cute, as long as it isn't my bra's or thongs. Another thing he does it bark back at me if I tell him to be good, or be quiet. It's like he's a teenager. And of course when he escapes the yard, which hasnt happened too much, but it sure does put a panic attack in me. |
Great thread. Well I love my Stomper boy to death, but I hate: 1) When he barks like crazy and does not listen when we say "No bark" 2) They way he acts when we take him to the vet - they can't even handle him and say "is he the boss in the family??!!" 3) When he does not listen. He is the total alpha dog no matter how much training we do 4) When he listens ONLY for treats. No treats, no listen! That is the Stomper rule. 5) That he wakes up EVERYDAY at 5:30 AM (even when I am not ready too!) Although I can say I hate these things, I wouldn't change Stomper for the world. He might not always listen, he thinks he is the boss in the house AND he wakes up early in the morning....he still gives the BEST kisses and is always happy to be and see me. What else could you ask for??!! |
My biggest pet peeve (sp?) about TJ is that he pees on towels. He is about 90% potty trained, but if there is a towel on the ground, he pees on it no matter how close he is to his litter box. My biggest pet peeve (sp?) about Riley is that he likes to play the game "Catch Me" He grabs something he shouldn't have (his favorite thing is money) and runs all over the house with it so that you can't catch him. This is such a fun thread! :D |

Quote, KLogan - When he listens ONLY for treats. No treats, no listen! That is the Stomper rule Ain't that the truth!!! |
Oh My...where do I start! Simon: He really has a mind of his own when it comes to everything. The biggest pet peeve for me though is that he firmly believes that everyone that comes to the door is there to play ball. He will whine, cry, scream, until they throw his ball. He hates to be brushed/bathed and loves to roll in dead things outside so it is always a production ;) Hallie: She has "found her voice" so to speak. Her new thing is to squeel like a pig until she gets what she wants (I swear that is what it sounds like). It doesn't matter what it is but lately it is usually Simon's soccer ball. She also likes to give me a look that tells me she's mad, I swear it is the most hateful look I have ever seen. She doesn't like it when I love on Simon. She refuses to sleep anywhere other than my pillow with her butt in my face! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them to pieces. |
Petting Ruby When I baby talk Ruby instead of being nice and allowing me to pet her she starts bitting my finger and trying to tear it apart like she does with her favorite squeeky toys. Only on rare ocasions does she get on her tummy for a rub. :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 |
1. It irks me when the puppies are asleep, and as soon as I make to leave the room, they both wake up and follow. Stay asleep, please! Otherwise, I feel obligated to sit in the room until the finish their nap :( 2. Sophie is in her 'teenage years.' She won't come when called anymore. |
Nobella- great idea to start this thread! This is a pet peeve for my cat and my dog: My cat Theo is a bit of a trouble maker. We're convinced that he leads Olivia to something and secretly tell her to do destrutive things. Olivia turns deaf when I yell at her not to do these things if Theo is around. Examples: 1) Theo's litter box is in the back bedroom. Olivia's favorite snack these days is "Theo Bites." There are gates and doors around this area so that Olivia can't get in unless we're in that part of the house. Theo doesn't spend any time in that room unless Olivia is in that part of the house. Then, Theo HAS to be in that room because he knows that Olivia is his shadow and will follow him in there. Once in there, Theo sits on the floor and just watches as Olivia digs through the litter box to find the "hidden treasures." So gross! No matter how loud I yell or what I bang on to get her attention Olivia can't hear a thing until I go in there and catch her! 2) Theo ripped the lining on our box spring a while back. Olivia rips the stuffing out of it. The bedroom door is usually closed, but Theo always is trying to open it. If he is able to open it, he shoots under the bed and Olivia follows him. There are no toys, food, open windows for him to look out of, etc. in that room- no reason for him to want to be in there at all, but he is obsessed with going in there when she's around. They don't even play in there- Theo darts under the bed, Olivia follows and by the time I get there she has stuffing in her mouth. She doesn't go under the bed when she's in there by herself, and neither does he- no desire to what-so-ever. They are true partners in crime. Olivia is so jealous if we give attention to Theo. She came into HIS house so we can't understand the jealousy thing. If we pick up Theo and pet him, or pet him when he's on the back of the couch, she attacks him. She'll bite on him and play rough to punish him for getting our attention. She even gets this really snotty bark if he does anything to defend himself! Like "how dare you touch my humans and then not let me eat your face off!" When we yell at her she just looks up at us with the most innocent face, like "what?" |
My pet peeve with Lillie is when we go out in the front yard and she goes in the flower beds and finds just the right redwood chip, grabs it, runs back in the house, and then hides under the coffee table chewing it to bits on the WHITE carpet, while I try to get it away from her! |
Great post! Mac: I cannot sit down regardless of where and Mac will bark until I pick him up so he can sit on my lap. He has to bury his treats in the cushion of my Antique sofa and then bark and dig until he's had enough. This doesn't start until 10:00 at night. That he always has to be the first and last to be petted or kissed. Mellie: The second you turn your head she is under the fence and then looks at you from the other side and wants you to chase her. She a foot licker/biter the second she see barefeet she's after them. She has to walk across the room with her food to eat it. Neither one will let me go to the bathroom alone EVER. No matter how many seconds I leave the house you think I haven't seen them in years and have to pick them up and give them kisses. This is even if I open the front door to get the mail. |
