I'm not a fan of using a human shampoo on dogs, their skin and hair has a different Ph than human skin, and even gentle products can be harsh on their hair. Quote:

i blow dry all my furkids..nothing strange about that |
Every morning when I blow dry my hair, I have a lil Yorkie jump in my lap wanting to blow dryed as well. Sam loves it! |
Of course I blow dry! I don't want a wet dog running all over the house trying to dry off on anything and everything! You keep on blow drying your dog! |

All 3 are Blow-dried I have a Tabletop Grooming Table that rotates I put it on top of my Washing machine and right next to it I have small couch that I put a towel over w/c is on top off my Dryer. All 3 of mine a blow dried with a special Pet Hair Dryer that purchased from Petsmart, it makes less noise and it has a special cover so I won't burn them no matter what setting it's on. They all love being blow-dried they know it's part of their Bath/Grooming routine. In the morning when they go potty and their feet get wet I usually just wipe their feet dry with papertowels it seems to work for spot drying. Since they all have long coats there is no other way to dry them. |
i blow dry Moses after every bath. he shivers when he's cold and i don't want him to have a chill. Plus i just love how fluffy his hair is after I blowdry it, just like with my hair! he does do the rub & roll thing at the beginning tho because he doesn't like being wet. Once i get going with the dryer he's content & just sits there turning his head this way & that for Mommy. it's too cute! :D |
Blow Dryer baby here too. Leo didn't like it much at first. However, after the first couple times he got used to it. I agree with the person who said the noise was a factor. I use the lowest warm setting possible. |
