soooooo happy she is ok :) |
I am so sorry you had to go through all this. Things happen to all of us, sometime in our life, to our little furbabies that we wish we could change. Getting out of a fence, or front door, eating something they shouldn't, etc. All we can do is try our best to watch over them as closely as possible. Mine at one time got into chocolate brownies. I will never forget that. So glad everything turned our ok for your little Boo. :animal36 |
I began reading your post and I was almost afraid to continue. Oh, I am so glad that it turned out that Boo is okay. These little Yorkies are so quick, it's all over with before you can blink an eye. Hugs to you and Boo. Joanne |
Something similar happened with Diesel's breeder. She had a little 3 lb stud, and he was always at her feet. She was cutting up cheese for a platter she was serving her dinner guests, and a cube of cheese fell to the floor. Well he snatched it before she could grab it, and choked to death in front of her. She was devestated. :( It also happened to my son. When he was 8 months old he had just started crawling. I ran to take dinner to a family from church that just got out of the hospital, and my husband had him and our 2 year old. While I was gone, my husband had thought that maybe the baby could have gotten ahold of a penny that fell on the floor but wasnt sure. Well, loooong story short we ended up in the hospital all night having a penny removed from his esophagus as well. Accidents happen all the time! Dont beat yourself up and just be thankful it wasnt more tragic! You need a big hug right now! |
I\'m so happy Boo is OK! Thanks for Sharing! |
glad to know your Boo is fine!! yes they are quick when it comes to putting things in their mouths..I have spent many a day chasing mine to remove a foreign object he picked up from some unknown place!!!! and it scares me everytime!!! |
 ... what a scare ... glad everything went well ..... |
I am so glad the doctor was able to take the bone out of his esophagus that enabled her to avoid going through surgery. |
That\'s so scary. You can\'t take you eyes off some of these little devils for a second. |
Sooooo Glad your baby is OK! I know Abby will grab up anything she can fit in her mouth and run with it. Thanks for the reminder. |
Thanks so much to everyone for their concern! We are so blessed! |
Wonderful news that she is fine. I can imagine the panic you all felt. Happy for your little girl and you and your family.:animal-pa |
How scary! Thanks for posting this for us. There have been many times when I\'ve had to stop someone in my family from giving my babies bones from the table. My mother seems to think that if she holds the bone, it\'s ok to let them chew on it. We\'ve gone \'round and \'round about this several times and I intend to let her read your post. |
As awful as that was...thank goodness it wasn\'t any worse that it was. Thank you Lord for your blessings. |
