OK I just picked her up. She is SOOO pathetic. I feel so very bad for her. She is extremely groggy and can hardly open her eyes. She can't walk either. They took out 5 teeth also and she has blood on her face but I can't wash it off!! She is not licking her stiches so I haven't put a onesie or e-collar on. Her incision is tiny though. And she has internal stitches and the vet said they would desolve so she doesn't have to go back to have them removed. They gave me a bunch of pain meds for the next few days and also some antibiotics for her teefers. Oh she is just so sad though, she wakes up and just stares at me and cries. Poor gal.
The vet said she did awesome though and had no issues with waking up or anything. They also gave me the teeth and they are HUGE. They are very long, I'll post pics later.
Thanks for all the well wishes!! I'm sure she'll be back to herself in no time. Until then, don't worry, she is being very pampered. I set up a great sleep spot for her all around the house. She's as comfy as is possible. |
