Nick names? Ok, gonna start a new thread on nick names. It's funny on what we name our babies then they get these cute little nick names. Here's mine. Muffy's nick names are: Mama Muffy & Ragamuffin Mia's nick names: MiMi and MiaPet (like ChiaPet) :) And our Golden retriever Belle: Belley and Belzer and Belster lol Go figure on where they come from, but it's fun. :) |
Well the main nickname for Hercules is probably Herc, since it's shorter. But depending on what he's doing, or what he's done, then there are a bunch of others.... Bitey and Poopey happen quite often when he bites or has recently pooped where he wasn't supposed to!! Probably Bitey more though. LOL! Brandi & Hercules |
I have to laugh reading about this thread, it's cute!! Schatzie is called Scruffy Butt quite often, she doesn't seem to mind a bit! :p |

It's hard to remember all the things we call him sometimes, there really are a lot! :p |
We must be the weirdest people in the world: When Sandy is playing and active (which is rare, she's an older dog) or when we are cuddling her or brushing we call her Sweet Baby or Baby Girl. When she is walking to us or we're trying to get her to go somewhere we call her Old Girl or Limpsky. She has a limp so, that's where that came from....so it's either Baby or Old Girl with us - or Limsky - poor thing! :) My daughter calls her "Sanny," which I think is adorable! |
Dolce sometimes gets shortened to just the first part of her name...Dolc without the Chay sound...then shes "my little munchkin"...i have overheard the boyfriend who claims he doesnt like her...yeah right lol...calling her "my little baby"...they're such liars!!! Ummm, the "PITA" nickname is used in my house as well.... :D |
My nicknames for mitzy is moochymoo and mitzymoo, or i have heard my 3 yr old son call her 'my little darlin' :) |
Mia's nick names are Baby Girl, Purty Girl (said with a real Texas accent) and then I will also repeat her name over and over and fast MiaMiaMiaMia..that gets her really hyped up Bentley is known as Bentley the Wonder Dog. |
Wylie This is so funny!!! Wylie's nicknames are Wy, Wy-fi, Fi, Floopy, Flupiter and Little Man. |
Chloe's nicknames are: Mamasita, Baby Girl, Cocoa, Chloster, Cuckoo Chloe, Chlo Chlo, and I might be adding Cranky to that list cause she just bit me and drew blood! Grrrr...I lover her to death, but Mama's not too happy right now, although I think she's sorry as she in now peacefully sleeping in my arms. |
This is tooooo funny!! I call Toto my "Sweet Pea"! I will say "mirror, mirror on the wall ... who's the sweetest pea of all" and she runs to grab a "fetch" toy!! We also call her "Toto, the traveling wonder dog"!! My husband calls her "Baby Girl" [that's a popular one]! Come to think of it ... he calls ME "Baby Girl" too  OMG ... I'm almost 62!! Do you think he's losing his sight?!? ;) We do use lots of other little names for Toto ... there are some people who think we're nuts!! Everyone who really cares what anyone thinks ... raise your hand!!! |
We call Gucci, The Gucc, The baby, Gucci baby and baby girl. I also call her Mama. |
okay, my nicknames for Gizmo are a little weird lol We call Gimo "Gizzie" *actually my mother does. I call her "Booful" *beautiful in gibberish:P* "Booger butt" cuz she has a bad case of getting those eye boogers  "anklebiter" and my stepfather calls her "Killer" |
Love the sharing nicknames idea! Bo's nicknames are: Baby Puppy and Bouffant Boy or Bouffie. The latter came about because of the bad hair day he had after his first puppy cut. He had a little pompador!! I said it reminded me of my mom in the 60's when she would get back from the salon! It was hilarious! It's been two weeks and thank heavens has grown out a lot. Even now, if I rub the fur between his ears the wrong way he looks like he has a mohawk! These babies are too cute! ;) |
Oh and my daughter just reminded me of HER nicknames for Bo.....and I apologize in advance for sharing this.... farthead and crapster  because she is thouroughly disgusted by the housebreaking trials and tribulations. But she says she still loves him! :) My son calls him Boey. :D |
Almost forgot one of my favorite's for Toto ..... Miss Prissy Paws!!! ;) |
Archie-Parchie, The Prince of Archness, Squiggles or Squigs and Ewok, because he looks like an Ewok in the mornings with his hair all crazy. |
Here's one more of Bo's: Lil Ruffy Tuffy cause when he's really excited to be let out of his crate he goes Wuff Wuff. Just two wuffs. Are we obsessed or what?? |
I call Yoda booger. Yes, I know it's gross, but he's just such a little booger sometimes! I call him that when he's not in trouble or anything, too. :p |
P.J.'s registered name is actually Sir Preston James. He really likes it when we call his name like - Peeeeeee Jay |
Hmm Lets see Ranger Danger, Floppy Flopperton, Whiney Whinerton, Puppuroni, Pupiticus Maximus (titus), Lil one, Pupphy (liverpool accent), Roger (by my dad  ), Buddy Boy, Stink Butt, Booger Butt, Sh*t head and how could I forget Poopie (to match his daddy). Im sure theres more, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head. |
That is too funny! I call Oscar Sweet Pea, Os-cah Man, Munchkin and Little Sh!t...the latter when he poops in the floor and then runs to his bed cause he knows better! He has gotten better and now runs to the door but we don't always hear his little commotion at the door in time to let him out. I even hear my hubby talking that baby talk to him calling him "Oscar Man"...he says he don't love him, but I know better! |
My favorite of all time...Pupiticus Maximus...how hilarious!! Good one, Danea! I have laughed so much over this thread! And we thought we were the only lunatics! :D  :D |
This is great! We call Snoodles, Baby Girl, Snoods, Little Bit, Brat, Sweetie Pie. etc. Can't remember right now. I never even thought about us calling her different names. It just seems to evolve. Toto's Mom! Mine bit me yesterday. I was so Surprised! I was going to take her for a walk, and had kput the harness on her and the leash, and she was dancing around all excited and I stopped to say something to my hubby, and she jumped up and bit me on the back of the thigh. She also drew blood! I couldn't believe it! I admonished her, but then dumb me, I still took her for a walk. I should have taken her harness and leash right off and told her she was a bad girl. It does hurt, doesn't it? They have sharp little pentrating teeth! I have to admit I was a little upset. If it happens again I will be ready and react differently! Pat |
:D I have been calling Nemo honeybunny every since I got him and my mom calls him Nemmy and my aunt and her friend calls him stinky booty.....he answers to them all....it is so funny.....dogs are so intelligent.... |
My dear husband - who didn't want me to get Mia in the first place - decided she should be named FDR (Furry Damn Rat). He still calls her that. My oldest - 19 calls her Waffles. Daughter calls her Mini Me & Flurpy (Fluffy, furry puppy) Other son 15 calls her Dorkie Yorkie. With me it's almost always Mia or occasionally Piglet. |
