I have 3. Snuggles is 5 years old, Snitch and Spyro are 3 years old . I got Snitch when Snuggles was 2 and then added Spyro when Snitch was 6 months. the boys are best friends. |
Here we started with Luna, and when she was 1.5 years, Don Juan joined us... now they are parents, and we are keeping sweet Luciana!!! sometimes I think I shouldn't keep her, but what can I do... can't resist that tiny face that will wear bows! So, 3 here... and praying for a Biewer!:D |
I have two babies - Froto and Gracie - both are about 4 months old. :aimeeyork:aimeeyork I also have a BIG baby - Bear-Bear - he's almost 16 years old. WOW! :animal36 I love watching the babies try to jump to get Bear's tongue - they also run around him and up over him when he is sleeping. The only thing I could do without is my big dog's GAS! PEW!!!!! |
I have 3 Yorkie's! I got Artie @ 4 mos. old and I had him for about a year and a half, he had serious "Seperation Anxiety" so I decided to get him a mate with the intention on "Breeding" him. I found Abigail from a Local Breeder in my Housing Complex. She was 15 weeks old when I got her but they chose each other and have been inseperable ever since. They had puppies almost 2 yrs. ago and I kept their daughter Tiffany Aloha, her nickname is Pom Pom. She was the runt so she's only 4 1/2 lbs. compared to Artie a whopping 10 lbs. since he's been Neutered and Abigail is 7 lbs. it took her almost 2 yrs. to loose the pregnancy weight. They all Love each other and I am very Lucky that they always get along and they are never jealous of each other in any way. I have had 5 at one time, I had to keep the 2 other Puppies she had for 20 weeks before I sold them. IMO the longer they stay with their Mother & Litter mates the better! Once you get a good Yorkie, you'll want more. If Artie was'nt such a pleasure to have I probably would'nt have wanted another one. Artie is so impressive that I have converted my Sister and Cousins to get a Yorkie, every one else I know with Yorkie's has at least 2, they are very "Addicting"! |
What a fun thread, my favorite of the week! I also am looking for my next Yorkie to join our furfamily. So far I have Tiki (4 months) and Schnauzer Niko (13) who really love each other... but another Yorkie or Morkie will be welcomed as soon as we can find one. After that, I'm thinking another one or two little ones would be ok, as I'm home full time, have a large house (all tile floors) and fenced yard, and we have lots of love to share with furbabies! I'm wondering if it matters whether new puppies we bring into our family are male or female, as far as getting along with established female? |
The Girls We got our first yorkie Willow :aimeeyork, and just before her first birthday we got her little sister Buffy :aimeeyork. This was the best thing we could have done for ourselves as well as for Willow. Tons of fun and laughs |
We have Radar, 11 1/2 yo; Festus, 3 yo; Carli, 2 yo; and now Carli has 2 babies 2 1/2 weeks old, just opened their eyes, look at us like "i love you soooo much" We intended to sell them but I'm afraid we will be a household of 5 yorkies. How on earth can you part with those babies. If we keep them the female will be Morticia and the male will be Gomez. We loved the Adams family and Gunsmoke to say the least. |
I have 2 yorkies and they both get plenty of love. I watch occasionally my friends 2 yorkies and when I have all 4 it is hard to give them all the same amount of love. Of course I favor my babies, so they don't get totally jealous. BUT you know yorkies will get their love one way or another by begging for it or landing on your lap when you least expect it!!! |
I have 3 - two yorkies and a silky. They get along great!!! Rarely are there any problems. The puppy loves to chase the other two around and around! Eventually my dream is to be the crazy yorkie lady on the street and have about 5!!!!!! |
