Lol, raises hand here:angel: I confess, I've snuck Maggy May into pplaces with me, she was a very good girl and we never got caught (so far.) But I bet we won't be as lucky anymore, as she's grown, she's REALLLLLY come to love all people so I just know she's wanna pop out of her bag and say hello and deliver kisses to everyone, lol. Hope you and your furbaby didn't get busted, ;) |

Sneak in update! Well, here's how it went. Bernie and I left work yesterday around 5. I got my pocketbook carrier out of the trunk, loaded it up with Yogurt drops and toys to keep him happy...clipped him in the purse and zipped him up so he couldn't stick his head out, off we went into the front door of the restaurant/bar. At first, not a soul even realized that I had an animal carrier with me. I had the straps over my shoulder and him under my arm while I was standing at the bar ordering a drink. I saw people that I hadn't seen in awhile...so naturally they came up to hug me, cause that's what we do here in the south we hug everybody. That's when the secret came out. Bernie was really quiet until about this point. After about the third person hugged me he got a little tired of all the touchy feely stuff and growled. Then it was.."OMG how cute...on and on from everybody. Busted! So, I got my drink and went outside to the deck that sits over the river. Bernie was definitely a hit, even if we did have to retreat to the back deck, at least we didn't have to leave. I'll do it again. |
Sounds like it worked out ok. You were happy because you had Bernie and Bernie was happy because he was with you.:D |

That wasn't too bad. He will get better as he becomes more accustomed to it. I had a patron in my restaurant that had a small Yorkie. They brought him in every time they came. It was not fast food so they were in there for a period of time....appetizers, soup/salad, entree' and desert . He never made a peep and nobody knew he was there. Very quiet and well behaved. She takes him everywhere with her. I didn't have a problem with it at all. I am glad there was the outside alternative for you although I imagine it was hot out there? What restaurant were you at? What river? Trying to imagine where you were, ya know! It's probably too new for me to be familiar with, huh? |
