And they have some cute clothes! The only thing I don't like is since they're made for a teddy bear all the emblems are on the stomach so you can't see them. I won't be putting them in the dryer since they JUST fit Brutus and he's
4 1/2 lbs at 7 months. I don't think they'd fit a much bigger yorkie. They had some real cute girl shirts too. Here he is posing his new NY Jets sweatshirt. Hubby should love this one! And a Harley Davidson t-shirt. He never wore clothes and really hates them! He couldn't wait for me to take it off! :rolleyes: I almost bought the biker jacket too but wanted to make sure it fit first.

But all in all I personally won't be shopping there anymore.

Wow, he looks awesome!! I want to get Codie some shirts too but he's 6 lbs but a skinny 6 lbs. :D I'll buy 1 shirt and give it a try. I'm not even going to try to get a shirt for Katie because she's way too tiny.

Wow hes cute! I will have to look online at their clothes. My girl is 4 lbs so they should fit her.

That's what I would do too. I had my two kids with me and when we walked in she thought I was going to actually "build-a bear". I told her I was looking for clothes for my dog. You should have seen the look she and other people gave me! I got a little pissed at first but figured who cares I won't be going back any time soon!

The only place to shop
 
All of lil bear's ensambles(sp) came from build a bear. What we do about the prints is just turn them around so the print is on the back. She must always have a shirt on and if I go there to buy my gator, bunny, or bear anything I always have to bring a shirt back for her. She actually took the shirt I bought for my mom's bear and sat at my mom's feet to have it put it on :D

The one picture I have in the gallery is of lil bear with her build a bear bed and dish.

And our build a bear loves the idea that lil bear wears the clothes we have taken in pictures and they have always said they wish we could sneek her in the mall so they could see her in person.

I haven't tried the clothes on moose, she has poodle legs so i think they might be too tight on her.

He is 7lbs and everything is a little big on him. Maybe they're making two sizes now??


The manager at my build a bear has a Boston Terrier and he said he only took the job there to get the discount on dog clothes!! He sets stuff aside for Stewie sometimes and calls me to let me know :) He knows our style. Sorry you had a bad experience there, but I don't think it is every store.

http://www.FantasyYorkies.com has clothes to fit tinies. dresses hats coats leashes harnesses banandnas . check it out not really high either.

I don't know why I didn't think to turn the shirts around! Duh! The Harley Davidson shirt has kind of a scoop neck but I'll try it. Thanks!

I wish the my build a bear was as nice as yours. Maybe it was just this one salesperson.

I buy shirts from Build-a-bear as well, and I put them on backwards, so you can see the design.

I never even thought of build-a-bear places for the clothes! I'll definetely have to look there (if we even have one)

Roxy was excited when we bought her Build a Bear's "Dog" bed from there....it just fit her nice. She really thinks she is a hot dog in there.

The worst thing about Build a Bear is that there are so many to choose from! I got Avery a Hawaiian shirt there and it's darling on him!! He's a skinny 6.5 lbs.

Sorry that you had a bad experience there. I live in Anaheim, CA and go to teh one at downtown Disney and they are just so sweet there. They know I am there to purchase clothes for my boys. My Bengie weighs 8 pounds and Garett weighs 6.5 and the shirts fit them just fine. I love BAB. Got Angels hats ($6) and shirts ($5) for the boys there, also some camo stuff. I love to go there but wish I had a girl for the girl items, again sorry that you did not like it.

I know some of you have said your babies are 6lbs and they fit them just fine. Do they have ones that will fit the smaller babies? Like 3 to 4lb size?

Do you think maybe they feel snug because he has so much hair? I couldn't wait for his hair to grow but it seems it really started growing as soon as he turned 7 months!

are the clothes from build a bear machine washable? does it make them scratch a lot. my lucky looks cute in clothes, but he'll try to bite them off.
